Tired of disenchanting purple items and receiving a blue shards

Nah the weapon enchants were as expensive as they were was because of the Glowing Titan Orbs. They had a very low drop rate from the elites in Tyrhold and you need 3 for a weapon enchant. The orbs were about 10-15k each usually. They’ve recently increased the drop rate and the orbs are much cheaper now. Last time I checked they had dropped below 2k.

Besides that it’s actually pretty difficult to craft them at rank 3. For example I’ve fully maxxed the weapon enchant tree + the sub-tree for the specific enchant and still am a way off to craft it at rank 3, I need an inspiration procc to hit max rank. I’m still missing points from other trees so it’ll get easier but ye.

Yep! /10char

Glowing titan orbs atm are cheaper than resonant crystals… that should tell you something… Those who owned glowing titan orbs now will keep the price up by buying every cheap one and selling it at a price they want same with crystals so there is where the rig comes those who are able to buy gold will dominate the game because the average player has no tools on his disposal for competing with streamers, boosters, and whales.

I sold 10 Resonating crystal’s last night as soon as I put them up for sale, easy 100k

Depends on your server I guess. On mine crystals are 1.5k and orbs are currently 1.9k each. Last week the price dropped from 10k to 2k pretty much overnight, they dipped below that but the price seems fairly stable around 2k now. It’s a win in my book tbh.

Now if only I hadn’t decided to spent 500k on orbs to level my enchanting from 90-100 just the other week lol

yes but you will need to have enough skill points to put into talents to get that. so by the time you have leveled up enchanting and have your chance to boost the odds you already have made a huge loss.

Idk i like the update for gathering but crafting proffesions are dead to me .

It’s awful. There is a lot I don’t like about the new crafting system. It needs reworking or we need to earn a lot more points to put into the specialisations.

I disenchanted a 395 ring and got shards from it.

De a blue 350+ item 90% chance of getting 2 dust, current value per dust on Ah= sub 2g. Even if the blue vendors at 20g, you make a loss using de.

De epic 372+ 50% chance of getting a single shard, current value sub 60g. Again making a loss.

De epic 385+ High chance of purple shard, finally might make profit but only if you sell the mat. Use it for an enchant and likely to make a loss.

So, all in all a totally useless system for new crafters.

I could bang on about how levelling alchemy is dead easy to 100, but literally useless as no ones buying flasks.

Other professions, you might get to lvl 75-80 then hit a brick wall, that will not be moving for many weeks.

Again, great system and those in the know jumped in the first couple of weeks, abused the flaws until Blizz fixed them etc. If you were not capped at skill in first couple of weeks, you are now just dumped on. As the early crafters have the markets sewn up solid. You will never hear them say so though. For them the new design is awesome. If you think 10.5 will fix anything, think again. The early goblins will now always be a million miles ahead of you and able to buy there way to being top.

Just sell your mats and annoy the goblins by forcing them to buy your stuff as you undercut them.

What? I literally spend 30k on phials every week between raid and m+
