For me, this is the worst gearing system since 2004.
I scrapped a 2 pieces of azerite gear (head & chest) this morning, obtained from world quests. I got 0 Titan Residuum. I don’t have the time to raid and I cannot go higher than mythic 6 with my friends - yeah, I don’t have the time to farm mythics /raids all day long - I work.
My only source of Titan Residuum is the weekly chest. Like this, I will never get good enough gear to advance the mythic progression in 8.3
So what’s left to do ? Close the account again ? I got back to wow one month ago, paid a 6 month subscription and now I cannot advance gearing. This is VERY frustrating for me.
I would gladly pay real money for Titan Residuum to buy the 3 pieces of gear.
You’re punishing again your paying customers (who actually have to work in real life and are really paying you). Find a way to make the game accessible not only to the obsessed playing 8+ hours a day.
445 are easily obtainable and allow you to run M+ up to 15 easily if you know what you are doing. Two weekly of +15 and you pretty much have one random mythic level azerite piece, or like two HC from ~1 week of residuum. If you do lower keys just aim at HC pieces, you don’t need the mythic ones.
This currency is mainly from pushing M+. It’s not designed to give rewards from mass-DE world quest loot.
Titan residuum is not some catch-up system where you can get mythic level gear without doing actually hard content. If you want good gear, invest time in it.
not realy true, you will not manage a 15+M if you are not well geard and have hole group geard atleast arround 445+ and even whit that it would be hard realy hard, a 15+ is tuned more or less for people whit 450+ gear now.
Wowowow there, buddy, calm down. Your frustration mostly comes from the fact you’re misinformed. Yes, the azerite system and titan residuum, we can all agree, suck , BUT, there are a lot of things you said that annoyed me a bit.
You only get titan residuum from scrapping CURRENT SEASON 430+ PIECES ONLY. Those blue 415 pieces are for catching up and are no part of the progression system.
Yes you can, you just need to try harder. More so, you can do a 10 aswell, but most likely not in time. I’m sorry but if you want better gear you’ll have to justify it. Not being able to push anything above 6 is 100% your problem, no one else’s.
Now here is something that really pissed me off. PISS OFF. you want to make this game pay to win? Gtfo out of here, you’ll never make WoW a game like that(and that’s without mentioning the current boosting community in the game, which is the most pathetic thing I’ve seen and it only exists because of people like you).
And finally, you can get 445 ilvl by literally starring at your screen, it’s being thrown at your face. You get 445 from emissaries and 3 assaults per week(edit- forgot to mention the weekly world boss aswell). You can feel the gap in the meantime with 430 gear which is even more accessible and even someone handicapped can get it done.
You can run Normal Mythic for 430 pieces.
If you can’t or are not willing to try more difficult content then you should be fine with those pieces.
Try to increase your ilvl until your Emissary rewards scale up to 445.
About the time, you don’t need to play +8 hours in order to complete a +10.
Not in time weekly run it should be doable. Maybe not every dungeon and affix would be easy but 445 isn’t that low in 8.3 where there is no TF. Plus +12 already gives 470 weekly and +15 upgrades that only to 475 so you can just do 12 instead 15 and have good gear progression.
Since in Hearthstone you can buy the dust to craft your decks, it is only logical to be able to buy the dust in World of Warcraft too, to craft your gear.
If you don’t work and you just play, you get it for free by doing content.
If you work and wanna be also competitive in wow for the little time you get to play, just buy the gear and that’s it.
Auction House is a joke gear wise. My gold is actually useless there.
no it is not, now lets se heartstone, a free to play game where you can buy to get more things done faster, works fine, but pay to win.
world of warcraft, monthly subcribtion bases system, not pay to win, so can not and should not ever put in things to buy for real money you can get an advantage on, if they did that, the game would die out fast realy fast.
no game that you pay a sub for should ever put items in a shop to buy real money for, becuse that literarly can be counted as scam then realy.
even if you can buy tokens for money now, the game is still not pay to win in anywas, becuse even if you spend 200 euro on token, you can not get the best gear just from AH.
I am not sure about that. +15 is higher than a +20 in previous season. There are really not that many people who were pushing and got to that. We got to +18’s ourselves. We timed our first dungeon yesterday finally, a +12 and we are 450-455.
All im hearing is i am not skilled enough to do a +10 with my friends so i want to buy mythic ilvl loot with irl money.
Plz. If the highest you can do is a 6 you dont need 475 azerite.
The system is not great i agree because it is rng upon rng or pay 4 times as much residuum which would be more than 2 months even if you do 15s.
But giving out free loot to anyone? Cmon at least work a little. You wouldnt need more than an hour or 2 a week to do a +10 and if you cant thats completely your fault especially if you even have a group of friends.
this, considering it aint even needed to be able to do +10 this early in the patch eighter, buy doing 5 to 9s now is perfectly fine for most, only the cutting edge raiders might have to do higher than those.
