I play paladin MT and os dps, it doesnt make sense that my class would be good at every specc.
We aren’t asking for ret to be good or even mediocre, only for the gap between the second to last spec and ret (the last spec by quite a margin when using current sims for Ulduar) to be smaller in Ulduar.
To be somewhat viable in ulduar hardmodes and not a total burden.
edit: current utility does not make up for the massive DPS loss you would have in Ulduar when bringing a ret.
Like I said I would also be happy if they buffed the utility to the point where there is a reason/net positiv to bringing a ret to hardmodes.
