To blizzard, feedback. Stop trying to make money off of a beta, it is revolting

we live in corporation-controlled world.

what you think or belive doesnt matter to them .

if you dont agree - stop using their product. its literaly the only way.

they will never care about your feedback .

Sry to be off topic, WWT will be in like 3 months from now since the beta right ? or that’s an educated guess ?
Anyways your estimates ?

I think it’s a genius move actually. Players do the work for you and they even pay you for it.

Pay for it or don’t.

I can’t believe you’re actually surprised some out there will pay for beta access.

Just sit back and relax. Knowing a bunch of schmucks paid for the ‘priviledge’ to test a game for a business lol.

No you don’t.
To get Guaranteed Beta access, 3 days early access, 30 days game time & 3 collectables, you pay €41.

Nope, you’re wrong on many counts.

To be fair he does have a point. The ad popup for TWW in the launcher explicitly says “buy TWW, guaranteed beta access” and that’s the only text on it, so clearly blizzard thinks this is a selling point.

Plus considering they don’t want their servers overwhelmed (and can’t predict how many exactly will buy epic edition) it’s very likely they’ll hold off on sending out beta invites to non-VIPs for a long time.

Unlike OP I don’t care about the greed part, but the game is shaped during beta. And even though I could technically provide feedback based on reading news or watching streams, such opinions are usually dismissed with “go away you haven’t even played it yourself”.

I agree. plus what do we know about testing out games?

every time there was a beta test we got people here crying because they only wanted to see if they liked the game or not before they bought and this isn´t what beta is supposed to be.
this beta isn´t a beta, it’s early access while bliz continues working on the game the way they want it to be, not by our reports or complaints.

Beta isn’t early access… :man_facepalming:

in this case, it is. look how it is being promoted, and giving to casual players that don´t know what they are talking about.

Last I checked, everything gets deleted after the beta, er go; not early access.

that is true, I played Baldurs Gate 3 when it first came out as early access. and they continue working on it while the players do their thing.

every patch gets a new update. to me, that´s being a Kirito before the final launch.

Obviously, Larian Studios listened to the feedback and criticism which Blizzard are Allergic to.

Edit: in this case though this beta is just a Demo for people that spent more money on it.

It seems that those who purchased the CE are not sure of having access to the beta

https://www.icy-veins.com/forums/topic/79619-no-guaranteed-beta-access-next-week-for-players-who-pre-ordered-the-war-within-collectors-edition/

Just buy epic version of the preorder and if you can’t afford it then stop being poor. You guys did this to yourselves by buying all the cosmetics and store mounts throughout the years. Old but gold “It’s my money I can do whatever I want with it and buying store mounts doesn’t impact the game in any shape or form”. Fast forward to 2024 and in game shop has more features than fated patch. Single player games like Assassin’s creed selling for $180 with 3 day early access and DLC on launch day XDD eh gamers are probably easier to exploit than hard drugs addicts

Assuming it doesn’t get pushed back, I think October at the latest since it’s before the anniversary event on the roadmap. That also depends on the roadmap not changing of course. So I think September or October.

most likely exactly 1 week after mop remix ends

And again, as I said before.

Buying it does indeed ‘guarantee’ access. Signing up for beta the regular way has NEVER guaranteed beta access and never will. It means you have to take your chances and be one of the chosen ones.

That has been the case for years. If you want the early access/beta etc then you have to buy a digital version, when you claim your CE codes you’ll get bnet balance.

Anyone who wants Beta access this much has no intention of actually doing any testing (beta or otherwise).

Mid september latest me thinks. October is far too long for their roadmap. I actually think the pre-patch will be after remix finishes.

You don’t have to bug report to “test”. It happens naturally as you play the game. Automatic systems will deliver feedback and highlight things. Sometimes just being a warm body walking through the content is useful to Blizz.
