I had even made a suggestion once about a timed, themed event that would optionally puts the player in a infinite time, where things in the past happened differently, as the player then could choose to be on the infinite side and continue the chaos and war, or join the side for peace and work to fix the rift.
But no this idea was not welcomed either, so no OP, people are happy as things are now.

hmm now that would be a good idea, an actual survey that can be answered once per an active paying account. And have the results on website transparently visible to see the votes as they come in.

If they can manage that without villain batting horde characters then go for it. If not then keep it as is. Sylvanas was always more of a grey character but bfa she went full on evil villain. Garrosh started off as a good character who overcame his self doubt because of his fathers actions (without knowing the full context) became a warrior for the horde and then warchief then mists made him full on racist orc purity my way or the high way. This kinda worked once but they repeated the same mistake of evil warchief later and killed a good character to do so.

for m+ I don’t think they ll reverse it. But lorewise its possible to think about a provisional peace treaty during the dungeon/delves, for earning treasures.
I think its also possible for raids. with automatic or manual LFG
But they need to remove interfaction guild and reintegrate war lore between horde and alliance by questline. As it was before and should be.
People like you think there is no more war and there is peace between horde and alliance. That’s not really this.
Interfaction was introduced only for parry the huge lack of players for content. It was absolutely not for Lore or purpose of peace.
But now there is interserver guild concept now (another answer to lack of players ?) So it can be possible to remove interfaction guild. You can find enough player of your own faction for guild members with interserver.
Do you know, even if you re grouped or guilded in the same guild, that you can kill your own guildie if WM is ON (Outside)
