TO BLIZZARD, watch this video from quazii!

You most certainly are in the minority here.

You can just do delves and +8 to farm gilded, and then you will catch up on sparks to use for 636 item.

And how long does it take? You need 90 crests.
(not to forget 1 crafting piece costs about 30k gold)

also has to do with playing alt keys.
i tried to gear my alt healer and holy hell, +4 keys make you want to quit the game immediately. The fail left and right and then you get flamed as a reward for it.
having people 3k rio alts that dont even bind their dispel makes you wonder how these potatos got to that score on their main in the first place.

Well 30 runs is 4 items, if you do all in time. And since you do over 10 keys per week as you mentioned earlier in thread, its 600 gilded for 5 weeks, if you only did 10 and all are in time. Its a alt not a main, and you can do 10 dawnbreaker +8 in less than 6 hours.

I mean, i started on +2. When you are that good to start on +8, good for you
And i am far from timing all 8’s. I just had an hour run on NW +10 and we gave up on the 2nd boss.
It requires a lot of time and dedication to get that amount of crests. And we talk about an alt…

Maybe.

But it was better in DF. That you cant deny.

Drop in participation now could cause next season to be easier to gear up myth items.

I will be grand with you. From a casual PoV, who mainly plays tanks and healers, TWW S1 is better than DF S4.

Sure, Bullions were nice, but you were forced to raid for them.

Also, anything over +10 could have been better in S4. I wouldn’t know.

15 min LFR dosent really count as raiding. It dosent demand a huge time investment.

And again. Better to raid 15 min LFR than nothing at all.

And the changes to spell quew dont affect you? That has the most impact on lower keys.

So first of all, your opinion is biased. You are a person that has the skill to do +13/+14 (atleast) that voluntarely chooses to sit on the 1 to 10 range.

There is nothing wrong with that.

But. The system is designed such that key levels match your skill. So a +8 should match someone who’s skill matches a +8. And in that case, TWW S1 sucks.

And if you were to play at you appropriate level, both in DF and TW you could compare. And its not a debate anymore.

That is why you are basically the only one with that opinion. I mean… +9s and +10s are also a walk in the park for me. But that level is not supposed to be for me. And i cant expect others to play like me either.

As for keys above a 10, ideally what you want is for some people to atleast try out 11s and 12s. And that is what we observed in S3 od DF for example.

Tons of people that never pushed keys gave it a try. But this season … Look at the stats:

LINK: Total runs per key level

That is not a nice gaussian like other seasons…

I used to think that it doesn’t matter. Then last night I had a +8 Stonevault. Geared people, so I was doing tripple pulls. 2 fearing guys in the pull, but 2 melee and the tank (me) should be able to handle that.

Enha Shamy, big brain move, kept knocking up the mobs, so we missed two interrupts. Fear then wipe. Almost threw my keyboard across the room.

No sure what could be done, it’s a design bottleneck. If you undo the change, keys will be brain dead once again. Number of wipes will drop by 70%.

From that point of view, I will have to agree with you.

Not only that. But also people that should be in those key levels are not. They are messing arround with the 1-10 levels.

Which means that people that should be playing <10 keys are pushed out and have a harder time finding groups.

If you compare DF with WW, keys in DF were braindead because of VDH and his double sigyl that allowed him to lock down whole packs indefenetly.

Blizzard took 1 season and a half to fix that (about 8/9 months). [inserty a long WHYYYYY !!! ] … BUt now that it is fixed it wont be as “brain dead” as you imagine.
