I need to grind 10k honour for another alt again to get rank 2 first… Why can’t the rank 3 just max it if you have already done it on other chars?
What? Thats how it work tho.
U can go from rank 0(no essence at all) to rank 3 if u have it on your “main” already, dont need to have r2

you dont need r1 or r2 essences. you can go straight to r3 if you have them on your main and the necessary echoes to buy them.
I asked in guild chat whether I needed rank 2 first before I could buy rank 3 from mother and use it. I was told “yes”, a BIG yes. =.=
But it’s ok since I just couldn’t bring myself to farm another 10k honour again so I came here to ask and confirm.

well, as long as you have rank 3 once on your main you can purchase them at mother on an alt.

Echoes of Ny’alotha can be turned into MOTHER to buy a Rank 3 Essence that you’ve obtained on another character. Each Essence costs 2500 
Echoes of Ny’alotha and you purchase the items that directly teach you the Rank 3 version of the essence when used on the Heart Forge.

heh yeah. but its still more bearable than farming 10k honor again imo.
