aw cmon, over 1000 fish, about 200 grey nonsense, 18 hours and no dang goop … 1% drop rate? rubbish.
at least give us some tips … do we use baits, wheres the best spot for it … something to give us a ray of hope.
is this your understanding of endgame content???

I’ve seen some reports of getting it as low as 800 casts and others are at over 3k casts.
Sadly this time fishing is like in real life. … you have to have endless patience, I will not spend days trying to get a poop I mean goop, as boring as the patch is right now, it is not boring enough to make me fish and fish and fish… 
maybe wait for a hotfix? We can only hope!!

I got mine this morning at easily over 1350 Casts. (I had 1350 fish in my bags, but sold lots of junk), and got a Frog Critter Shape.
I’ve heard as low as 400, and as high as 3000 (wowhead source).
It’s worth it though, that mount is awesome!
But it’s also bugged. When in no fly areas, it doesn’t have a Ground Mount Speed increasing, but when in a place with flying it does.
Eat more fibre. Will help with your…gooping.

Over 1000 fish from 18 hours of fishing? Doesnt make sense to me. Takes like 10-15 min to get 50 fish.
I did the legion one in shadowlands, where you fish up drowed mana. That also took a lot of time and that mount can only be used under water.
I think 1% is to high, because you can grind it all the time.
If getting burned out why try to nolife it? Fish 100-200 fish each day, in a week or 2 you will prolly have it, thats my plan
