cmon blizzard this legendary quest is bugged i used rune on all 3 bosses of all 3 difficluties and yet none of them work i already spent too much gold and time for this non sense quest fixxx ittt asaaaap!!!
indeed. The quest [Handling It: Taut Tethercoil] no longer works. any rare mob simply dies with a buff on the corpse, without throwing a single [Taut Tethercoil]
Same for me, seem to have broken in yesterdays hotfix. I’ve tried both LFR and Normal, without luck. Purple beam just sticks around, I don’t THINK I feel any movement impact, and the beam just stays when the boss is dead, and no quest progression happens. Super frustrating and bummed when it’s the last step for me before doing the scenario. 
I am stuck on Volcoross killed it while shadowbound (with the line and slow and everything) on LFR, Normal, HC difficulties. Boss dies the beam is still there on the bosses corpse, slow is still there but no credit for the kill and no progress on the quest. Made a ticket and got a lousy auto reply basically telling me to check wowhead and icy-veins, neither are “official” blizzard websites mind you, and several other irrelevant steps. Apparently this happened due to a hotfix that was pushed and similar bug was happening back in december. Soo… credit us with our kills.
still no progressing and still bugged just try to open more tickets i hope the fix it soon
