Not so long ago the rule went like this: if you take the Charred Passions talent then you might as well take Tiger Palm off of your action bars because with this talent Spinning Crane Kick does more dmg even in single target. I suspect it’s no longer the case when it comes to single target builds (with Face Palm and Blackout Combo). But what about the dungeon builds (with Weapons of Order taken ofc)?

Tiger palm should never not be in your keybinds, it’s literally your main chi generator, the only time you don’t use it is during serenity.
He is talking about Brewmaster monk, as only they have the Charred Passions talent.

Yea i was wondering what that was to be honest.
I have no idea about tanking.
To be honest though, weapons of order should have been the giveaway, since i know that’s a brewmaster talent, although it didn’t really come to mind at that moment.
With blackout combo Tiger Palm is definitely the way to go for single target, as it is a massive damage upgrade.
I doubt we use it for AoE as we do not tend to use Blackout combo for dungeon builds. It still helps to use Tiger Palm instead of spinning crane kick on bossfights even without blackout combo as it does more than spinning crane kick on single target.
