I lived in Sweden all my life and thats closing in on 30 years now.
I always loved playing games myself and yes, 20 years ago the whole āplaying games is a guy thingā I can understand.
But for at least the last 10 years seeing female gamers should not be suprising in Sweden.
With that said I still dont see the need to bash the OP, I cringed myself at the story but he later mentioned he explained himself to her and they are cool now.
And this also changed his view on female gamers so I would say that a good thing.
