Items marked as Crafting Reagents doesn’t automatically goes into the Reagent Bag unless it have been manually assigned by the devs to automatically go there.
99% of all reagents have gotten this assignment, so it is possible to stumble upon exemptions like [Dig Rat].
[Dig Rat] is marked as a Crafting Reagent, but when looted only goes into a normal bag without assigned specialisation. It can however be moved to the Reagent Bag, and that is really all what the ‘Crafting Reagent’-tag does.

Actually it’s the Alliance that has only 1 light post atm - Turalion. The Horde is kinda more developed in terms of technologies than we used to think.
I will gather an elite squad of Vulpera on a strict asparagus diet and we will mark Turalion tonight while he sleeps!
