Today I will remind you

It’s like I had to learn to play a rogue or a shaman or a warrior from oocers… (I didn’t) And the fact my gear lvl isn’t that high isn’t because I’m not that interested in high end game contente, I just want to rp, reason why I’m in a rp server and not a pve/pvp one.

Edit: Thou if I’m being honest, I have higher mythic and gear progression than a part of pvers, you can go to checkpvp and see my alts.

I am? You just don’t believe me.

And for other role-players it isn’t.

On this thread we witnessed all kinds of attitudes, from the moderate “they are an annoyance” to the “they are always bad and must be removed with subtle acts of bullyism” type of poster.

I don’t think any of this is common sense, but you do you.

Yeah, see that’s the beauty of groupfinder: I can do content if I want to, without those players needing to be on my realm. It’s the best of both worlds.

I haven’t RPed since Cataclysm practically and after reading this thread I totally get what the problem is. I can do PVE content to my hearts content on literally any other server but there is only one RP server and maybe it should be just reserved for people that RP?

I will be taking this 100% experience buff and building a new character on a new server. It is a shame that not many people are going to leave if it involves paying and others are still have social ties to the server. A free server transfer would probably help.

Regardless good luck, AD.

No, no and thrice no.

The purpose of this server is to RP in WoW.

Not just to play WoW, it is the only server left devoted to RP, and the others died out -because- of this sort of attitude. I saw it happen on Sha’tar. “Well, they’re OOC, but they’re not harming anyone” Then as the numbers grew “Well, OK, some of them are Griefers, but just, y’know, report them” and slowly but surely, the endless griefing, and harassment, even by some of those raiding guilds who came over and said “We Promise we won’t disrupt your RP” Because once RP’ers are in a minority on their own server, who cares what they think, right?

Pretty soon all that is left is a PvE server with maybe ten people RPing in it, who face constant mockery and disruption, by absolute chuckleheads who mock RP without realising they rolled on an RP server, and why should they? Its not like it -was- an RP server anymore.

This is the last RP server, and encouraging OOC people to come here, or even just not getting miffed about it, is exactly how the others died out.

It would. But a lot has to do with people’s mentality.

Thank you for your understanding though. :ok_hand:

This guy totally gets it. Good on you man, for taking that step. Good on you.

Well, that simply comes from the fact that you have a larger pool of players to choose from. Even people from, say, Draenor or Tarren Mill won’t only play with people from their realm unless it’s high-end mythic. It’s more the fact that more players help with current content, not really an OOCer thing!

All of you are still forgetting that few hundred people on a realm with over 10 thousand have absolute no say in how realm should operate and who should be on it.

Those who use the server for its purpose have a say, as they at least can read and follow common logic.
Nice bait certain someone.

Common sense is not being a disruptive element on a server with the ROLEPLAY tag.

Not a bait Karyin, just a reality check.

Jade witches have the least say of them all

A libary gets full of people shouting or creeping about and only a few are there to use the place for what it should be. The former “Get of your high horses, this is our place too! You have to right to chase us out!” While some others are like “Leave them be, they have a right to be here too, we are in an open space.”

Mate your opinion has even less clout than the average AD OOC gamer.

I think you need to translate this message, even with this brilliant example, he won’t be able to comprehend the point.

if argent dawn became an ooc server would anything truly be lost

this i ask you brothers and sisters

Actually, apart from your figures being incorrect, you are rather amusingly wrong. Hundreds of people doing it right, have a better right to say how it should operate than a few thousand doing it wrong.

You also seem to forget that it is Blizzard who determined what ‘doing it right’ is here, and it is their game.

Again its not an opinion nor a bait.

I don’t recall anyone asking.
