ToGC - loot chest from Anub

Will the drop mechanics for the Blade of the Unbroken Covenant, which is the BiS weapon for warlocks obtained from Anub in the upcoming Phase 3 release, remain unchanged? Specifically, will it continue to be the case that the weapon can only drop if the raid team has 25 or more attempts remaining, or are there any planned alterations to this rule?

Doesn’t seem like they’re going to change it. Keep in mind though that for the chest itself to appear the entire raid from start to finish must be done on Heroic Difficulty so no dropping it down if the boss is too hard.

I am aware that it is from the HM chest.

Yeah, yeah just noting it considering the whole “change difficulty on per boss basis” is a bit annoying factor.

Dont think they will alter it as it is the same case for a lot of chest items, the cloaks and tier tokens are bis for nearly every class.

Maybe they can add a repeatable mechanic where you pay 1 wow token to get 5 more attempts?

What does token has to do with tog attempts?

I’m 99% sure he was making a joke.

Yeah, skip the middleman (or middletoken in this case) and just add an ingame button that appears when you select the boss’s corpse where you can pay Blizzard 20EUR for a respawn. Or five.

I understand that this might not be directly related to the main topic, but personally, I disagree with their decision regarding the token. Since its release, I have been unable to generate any gold from the AH, and this continues to be the case even now.

I haven’t done PTR so I’m more curious how the attempts counter will work with the heroic toggle.

If you kill 1-4 bosses on normal mode, how many attempts would a heroic Anub be counted at?

no dead oef rough 1 dont mean it silly way 2 boss there relly pain rest super ez

According to Blizzard it will not count as Heroic Kill for the purpose of the chest. Achievements and chest would require you to clear entire raid on HC difficulty from start to finish - no cheesing.

Mate please use a spellchecker…

They should only make loot drop on 50 wipes left. Filthy casual players dont deserve loot! They can buy gold on the website and stay naked in the corner if they absolutely want gear. I think its so stupid how blizz is catering to casual players and not professional players who take this game seriously and hardcore! If you are not 99 parse in every boss, you need to uninstall like me, you are not good enough to deserve any gear!

Blizzard prepares some stuff for both kinds of players, but casual players want the hardcore half too.

seem clear to me not even use long text anymore

Correct spelling isn’t going to make that sentence understandable…
