Hello there, regarding this matter, I wanted to know if there is an option/alternative, to see if I did an specific raid or not… normally I will check calendar or just watch the raid list when pressing the ‘‘i’’ button, to see if they have the yellow exclamation icon or not telling me what raid I have left/completed.
Since I have a few characters, there is one that I know I did the 25togc… so I wont be doing it until next reset cuz I dont want to be banned, but, I cant remember if I did the 10man raid.
Plz help I dont want to be ban, but also dont wanna lose emblems or loot… so if there is a way/form to know, let me know and will be very gratefull.
Thanks in advance, your time is very much appreciated and sorry for troubles.
Youre whole post makes no sense, why would you get banned? Did you do tocg or not? 10 or 25 man?
Press “o”, go to raid, top right corner “raid info”, click on it and it will tell you what you are saved to.
If i understood the problem correct.
I dont see how you will get banned though? If you already did a raid, and try to enter a new one, nothing happens.
Why do you reply if you don’t know what the question is about? Some people DIDN’T get saved after killing bosses in ToGC, and Blizzard made a post (on US) that they will ban people who abuse this since the fix only goes out on reset.
OP, as far as I know, there is no way to find out for sure if you did it or not. Nobody from Blizz reads or replies on EU forum so you won’t get your answer here. I know it is of no help, but to be safe just don’t run it. That being said, the chance they will ban an alt on EU for running it twice is miniscule. They clearly were talking about top guilds splitting it 10 times for speed run advantage.
Well, exactly… but the really we live on is another.
Addons, such as Nova Instance Tracker would have done that if you already had one. However installing it now won’t help your problem as it wont be able to see your past raid runs that didn’t get saved due to bug.
Also raid logging & uploading would have been a solution, if you or someone in your raid was doing it.
Edit: just remembered that you can also use the statistics tab in the achievement screen to check how many ToC kills you got. So if it says 2; you definitely done it this week too.
I see, thanks for your reply, sad to lose 1 reset, but tbh I do prefer that than a temporary ban. Thanks mate!
no need to lose reset; just check your stats tab and if it doesn’t say 2, you are safe
Except… I got banned for doing two raids on one of my shadow priests, presumably the 29th of june (thursday) and 3rd of July (monday).
Due to my character roster consisting of several “indentical” characters it’s difficult for me to distinguish which have completed and which have not.
I have:
2x shadow priests
2x warlocks
2x feral druids
2x mages
And I got banned wondering why and what I had “abused”. From someone in my guild is was told there was a banwave of people doing multiple togcs within the same lockout.
So I figued, I log all my raids, why not check warcraftlogs.
Only then did I actually notice I had done runs with same character!
Yet I received a 8 day ban for honestly a mistake from blizzard…
When I wrote a ban appeal explaining the situation I got a generic copy pasta saying “we have checked with our sources and your punishment stands…”
Great job Blizzard!
Seems like I’m one of the lucky ones whose gotten a ban for doing it twice.
Only noticed after I was banned, was tipped of the banwave and manually checked every raiding character on warcraftlogs
I’m not buying it lol. I think you’re acting stupid and so does Blizzard. You took the risk of going in twice and got a well deserved ban but most got away with it I believe.
You’re making a classic mistake here thinking other people are stupid and buying your obviously laughable excuse.
Good job blizzard by punishing these clowns.
well maybe, just maybe the previous poster did it on purpose. but would you come and say %100 of all people who raided twice with one of his/her char’s did it on purpose? %90, %80? if even a significant number of people did it accidentally and got a ban for it, i would say it’s an unjust punishment. even more so if there are people who did it on purpose and didn’t receive a ban.
I’d ballpark the number somewhere around 99,99%.
