Unless the trinket feels really strong i generally prefer passive trinkets myself. But when some trinkets are clearly pretty strong like the mechagon trinket in bfa then ill likely use that anyway. But yeah if you play a specc with alot of buttons already then i dont want to keep track of on use gear as well.
For Devastation, the two BiS trinkets are both on-use trinkets, and I’m not a fan. I have both of them, but only use one because I’ve found that I just mess up when I have two trinkets with important use effects (or forget to use the second one or what keybind I put it on).
So I sacrifice some dps potential (that I probably wouldn’t maximize anyway) and picked a slightly worse equip-effect trinket in the second slot. I don’t do content where I have to perfectly min-max (just up to +20s, HC raid), and this works better for me. I’d prefer two passive trinkets, but one is fine and the Spindle is really good.
Same here for destro.
And my BIS staff is also an on-use effect!
I highly recommend investing in mmo mouse. The quality of life it brings is amazing.
They’re really not for everyone. I had a naga and I hated it, it feels very stupid trying to distinguish between buttons because they’re tiny and I have no 20 years of muscle memory attached to using my thumb for 9 buttons, all next to one another. It’s an uncomfortable position for the hand too imo.
this but unironically, @lotharim
Well you dont have to do it if you dont want to…do you know that? So what are you being so smirk about?
I hope u dont mean your paladin as 17 skills to press. Ur rotation is just 5 - 6 buttons. And no utility is not counted because u dont press it all the time.
LITERALLY BASIC READING OMG - get out of here?
