It’s too much. Stop it. Nobody is doing it. Millions of world quests and events nobody is doing, just cluttering our map. Systems upon systems nobody is engaging in. Just stop. Start wow2 already. Let’s go back to smite and wrath spamming. And killing boars (who apparently don’t have a liver).
Man this is gonna be eaten up, you’re about to get so flamed… glad I got here just in time to set up a chair
(For the record, I agree with WoW2 being the next important step, but not for your reasons, I do enjoy the world events, as well as delves, m+ and raids. The only content I don’t do is pvp cause they get an actual update once every 3 expansions other then “Hey new Arena”)
What is it with you wow2 people? Why do you assume a new WoW game from the same company, set in the same world, targeting the same audience would be a completely different game? Go play your classic versions if you can’t handle optional content.
How does “wow 2” look like in your head?
Get out of my head! Get out of my head!!
Wow 2 already exists, in fact based on changes to the backend alone, we’re on at least wow 4 now.
Wow 1: Vanilla, TBC, Wrath
Wow 2: Cata, Mop, WoD
Wow 3: Legion, BFA, SL
Wow 4: Worldsoul saga.
I beg to differ, I’ve done them all… now it’s just doing WQs and weekly stuff.
are you counting dragonflight under wordlsoul saga here?
also lets come up with more fun names for the segments.
- remnants of warcraft 3 saga
- unapolegetically evil… until the legion comes saga
- borrowed power saga
- wordsoul saga
other and most likely better options are more then welcome ofcourse
You already playing wow2 you just not awake enought to know it
I thought WoW 2 was TBC, WoW 3 was WotLK etc.
So we’re at WoW 11 now.
@OP: Simply don’t do those. If something is not providing interesting rewards for you, don’t do it.
One complaint I will agree on though is that grinding the repeatable content that does give interesting rewards is too grindy and lengthy.
I based it upon when the game really changed, Wrath had a lot of “vanilla but different” elements, Legion really doesn’t, for example.
Yep nobody does quests, world quests or dailies, never ever…
The rotation of WQs is fairly slow now, that changed with DF and it’s similar in TWW. So it’s not really a big deal to do them daily. If you want to.
With what i’m seeing ~ doing 1 month in the Expansion . ( again this is my own perspective so for each person may differ )
Probably 1 or 2 more weeks going to do delves. ( After that i don’t see any reason doing them ). Delves 9-10-11 doesn’t offer anything other spending a half+ hour of doing them for the same rewards as a 8. Half-released content . Was supposed to have 13 tier…and we ended with 8 tiers…
Mythic + not interested . The toxic especially if you wanna start is ++++ Also 4 of the Dungeons i don’t enjoy doing them … That’s a big minus for me .
PvP . i don’t do .
Raiding ~did/saw the bosses …That’s all .
As for the World Quest ~ i mean i have the reputation ~ Renown at 15 lvl for most of the factions and not interested in 40 valor or 15 crest that have no use . Killing 10 npc…doing some photos to get 27 valor or 25 key fragment . anyone that play the game more than 2 years will get bored re-do this content .
Basically very few things to do that offer something engaging-refreshing with the last 4 expansions.
Today i don’t even feel to log since there is nothing to do . Checking the forums and reading a book .
Tomorrow is the vault reset …and that’s wow **
I’d say we’re in WoW 3 then. As you say WoW 1 was up to and incuding WotLK. Then we had MoP and WoD as an intermediate WoW 2. From Legion onwards we are in the era of World Quests, Borrowed Power and M+. Fundamentally the game is the same as it was in Legion; the only “drastic” change is the gear upgrade paths.
Nobody except a tiny puny elf .
P.S. I love doing WQs myself, everybody here that doesn’t like something always comes with “and nobody likes/does…”
i would argue design philosphy has changed a lot between legion and now. thanks to shadowlands it seems mostly and after shadowlands the big impacts of it started coming in. but yeah i can see both worlds be true with this part. it is definitly version 3 or 4
I think the big shifts happened in Wrath, it resembles Cata more than it does vanilla or TBC.
I actually wish there were more world quests to do daily. Kinda boring to log in and there’s maybe 2 new wq’s to do for the day.
why is there a spreadsheet leaderboard for wqs done
IT’s from a site called wow audit, it can compare pretty much anything you want, from raid bosses to quests completed.
We use it to see who’s been doing mythic+ a lot
