Now that DF is out for a while, what’s your top 5 favorite Zones (could be from any expansion)

In no particular order

  1. Jade Forrest
  2. Winterspring
  3. Stranglethorn
  4. vermillion redoubt
  5. Zuldazar

honorable mentions:

  • Grizlly Hills
  • Uldum
    -rest of Northerend areas

Talador first, just for the music.

Then WoD zones in general, they all looked pretty good and would have made for decent Battleground maps.

Jade forrest, absolutely

I have too many to list but here are some of them:

  • Loch Modan (pre-cataclysm)
  • Southshore (pre-cataclysm)
  • Elwynn Forest (+ music!)
  • Howling Fjord (& Grizzly Hills for the music!)
  • Lordaeron & Silverpine Forest (pre-cataclysm, + music!)

Dunno, grizzly hills probably. And tbc nagrand. Maybe mulgore and old stv.

Alliance howling fjord boat entrance is the best single thing they made regarding The zones.

I love the ‘jungle’ or the green style zones. That’s why it’s like this for me:

  1. Gorgrond
  2. STV
  3. Jade Forest / Valley of the four winds (it’s a tie really)
  4. Nagrand (both tbh)
  5. Ohn’aran plains

Honorable mention: Suramar for sure.

Astranaar always reminds me of when I was levelling my first character up. I was so sad when I left that zone.

The beauty of Nagrand is amazing. It should’ve been the horde capital in my opinion.

Also a great place. Completely forgot about it. It’s like adventuring in the Scandinavian forests
