Also avoid any kind of people that sound like Duncan.
‘I am a super nice person. Your character is not constantly in a good mood. Therefore I will OOCly cause issues for you. Why? Because once, at some point, your character frowned in my direction.’
^
Too many of these types who just MUST be liked. To the extent that they take IC issues to an extreme and OOCly cause trouble for you, it has been the bane of my RP on AD in truth.
If you’re that nice a person, you would not blow up the moment someone reacts negatively to your character.
Who or what is Duncan.
oh god ye i hate duncan too
Just be thankful you don’t know.
Bloody Duncan.
Could be worse. Could be Duskar.
the kind of people that on other peoples’ rp as if they’re some sort of higher tier of rper tbh
also related: ppl that whine incessantly about the state of the server when they have either (1) not rped for years, (2) dont actually engage in form of non-bubble RP at all or (3) both of the above
Void Elves.
Rude.
Truth Hurts,
Every kind of elf + worgen.
The “stupid brute” people. The ones whose entire characters can be summed with “rawr me strong”. They are literally never interesting and most often annoying.
Laughing Skull heada$$es
Races that are hostile but apparently have some magic way of being allowed in and don’t take hostilities from anyone
Metagamers
Terrance
The IC looks at the patch notes
That’s my list, add the snap x
Might just be me not understanding but what does that mean?
Instantly knowing any recent lore developments IC, I think. Right after the patch launch or during the PTR if stuff has been datamined.
Pretty much this. Characters who are omniscient on all lore, be it datamined, current content, or only announced like the upcoming Xpac.
It’s often joked about as them having a wifi connection IC to read wowpedia/wowhead.
Characters who are constantly getting injured or wounded so they will be the centre of attention. Die quietly
Especially the fourth one
I vision came to me last night, young Arn’ot. I believe more Trolls tribes will be joining the Horde in due time.
But as Coldshade said, like the people who instantly knew about Azshara/predicted her as a threat when patch 8.2 came closer. Foreshadowing in RP isn’t cool it just makes u look awful
People who “foresee” expansions or patches … Yikes.
I’d better make a shaman and turn up like “Ah, I’ve seen it… We’ll be fighting N’zoth!” I can’t even imagine how poorly that kinda RP would be received.
