yeh sadly bm powers suck compared to all the others i think the best power s we got is the one that increases the duration of turtle by 100% and lets us fight while turtled and the 2nd 1 gives 1 min of bestial wrath when choosing it or when enter a new floor.
some things like crumbling aegis need to be changed to affect pets also imo
I mean sure, there are a lot of powers that BM hunters are not really excited to see - and we’re certainly not as great at clearing Torghast as the immolation Demon Hunter build.
But we have plenty of great choices as well. If I had to complain about one thing regarding BM, it would most certainly not be the damage - but the survivability of the pet. During Twisted Corridors, let’s say last 3 floors, you really gotta kill the mobs within one intimidation stun, or your pet is gonna get oneshot - does not matter if it is a boss or regular mob -.- … <.< And I mean, that would be fair and all if not for the fact that we cannot any deal damage with a dead pet. xD
So if I could wish for just one thing when it comes to Torghast, then it would be some options for a tankier pet.
I 100% agree with this. Even with my pet at 100k health from killing mawrats where they improve stamina or health (don’t remember wich), the power that gives you and your pet health back as you deal damage, the power that makes it so when you use a trap your pet takes less damage for 10 secconds AND the power that makes your pet take less damage after you misdirect him there was no chanse I could keep him alive on layer 3, floor 18 boss of Twisting Corridors.
So either you were very unlucky with powers, or you chose the wrong ones. I’ve had twisted corridor runs where I easily push 250k dps - it’s all about synergy between the powers.
I did layer 1 first day it was released, I have no memory whatsoever of what kind of dps I did then, but I did do 250k dps on the layer 6 floor 18 boss - no logs however, why would anyone log a torghast run?
If you’re having trouble with powers to select, just open the icy veins guide, it’s pretty great.
I do agree however, a few of the powers we’ve got available as BM are pretty nonsensical, but most of them work great together with others - disengage being good for keeping the trap buff up for instance.
