Well the majority of this forum don’t think so. “But this forum isn’t the whole player base” I hear you say… well, go into torghast, type /2 and ask what people think. I did this last week and the response was very close to this.

you need to remember people dosent go around and suddenly thinks waow i really love this part of the game let me go write on forums no people complain way way easier than they compliment something and you need to know the people that actually use the forums are a tiny amount and i can tell you everyone in my guild and my friends enjoy shadowlands alot and says its an amazing exspansion so yes we both have oppinions and we cant speak for others that we dont know but what i can say is exactly what i said before
and i dont think you played in bfa if you dident notice how many that dreaded that exspansion but maybe thats why everyone had already left the game bfa was the new WoD
sure am happy it isent something usefull you have “experience” in then since if you are so experienced what is it you are experienced in then? becouse its not playing the game well since i have DH’s laughing at torghast around me
true everyone can biased but ive shown you my proof where is yours? other than “people rage on forums so thats why im right” not all people should be able to do the “HARDEST” version of some content in wow on the day it releases like where is your +15 mythic keystone? and where is your full clear of the Mythic raid? its out and everyone should be able to do it day 1 im sure
its not. done they just buffed torghast when healers or tanks go in solo aswell so going prot isent gonna help you. My advise would go find a friend that can cover your weakness and then try again OR go get better loot and Torghast is gonna nerf itself

the problem is that this is the HARDEST VERSION that just came out TODAY and people start complaining that it needs a nerf so just becouse some people find it boring or cant clear it blizzard needs to ruin it for everyone who does like it? and wants a challenge? when Twisting Corridors comes out its gonna be fine if Layer 8 is easy since there will be a challenge somewhere else and it will have become easier just becouse people have gotten better gear just like with layer 6 and 3
its fine to like and hate something but to say that just becouse you cant clear the hardest version of the game it should be nerfed dosent sit with me not everyone can do a +15 mythic keystone or mythic raid either should that be nerfed too? do we need to do what a guy said a few days ago and add LFR Mythic? the game needs to have content that is hard to do so people have something to work towards

it is solo ABLE content but if YOU arent ABLE to SOLO the HARDEST part of the game then maybe as i said go get a buddy or get better either with skill or gear. and (i could be wrong) but i dont remember ever seeing blizzard be like “WELCOME TO OUR NEW SOLO ROUGE LIKE ADVENTURE AND IF YOU REALLY WISH TO YOU CAN TAKE SOME FRIENDS WITH YOU” listen man im not gonna lie to you but why the hell would you play wow solo anyway like its and MMO go play a better game than this if you want solo content i can hook you up with a few games you can try if intterested

I’ve done it solo layer 8 as discipline priest. Definitely overtuned, and the HP buff mobs got against healers is way too much. End of floor bosses had 300k hp+, and at least disc (but I suspect the other healing specs too) doesn’t have good damage powers. There are several synergies, and you’re practically guaranteed to get at least one, but they are “meh” at best. I’ve consistently ended up with bosses way exceeding 10 stacks. Especially the venthir-like dude casting those sinful bolts for >50% of my hp every 1.5 seconds is bordering impossible. I had to try to do as much damage as possible blowing my cooldowns, and then juggle defensive cooldowns, mindgames, kite, and LOS every single cast to kill them. They were actually much harder than the end boss. Much! harder.
I personally don’t mind the mobs doing high damage to me, I think that part is fun. But the overinflated HP pools against healers while there are no good DPS powers for us is stupid and boring.
for me my second run in the upper reaches today was a big slap in the face honestly
this venthyr elite at the end of the door on like floor 5 or something ‘‘empowered imperial consular’’ just hits like a truck, does a cast continuously that hits for about 50-60% of my max hp, seem designed to be fought by classes like paladins that can stall for 30-40 seconds with Cooldowns, i just dont have the cooldowns to fight him head on, i could maybe do 200-250k of his 450k HP pool before i just ran dry, 0 buttons left and he 2shot me
that feels kind of cheap honestly but maybe its just overtuned
they did just buff torghast when people go in as a healer or tank spec since it was too easy before
I know, and they did it all wrong. Healers and tanks heal or mitigate a lot more damage than dps. The mobs should have done more damage to us, while having low hp pools, because our damage sucks. Or they should have given us better damage powers.
I call for a nerf! it is not fun… try that…
I am so tied of torghast allready i just want it done. it is frustrating, it is over tuned and it is extreemly boring with the skills astleast priests get. I guess you just play a healer for a tank friend and you guys roflstomp everyting.
when you do that it is fun… for everyone else who actualy have to play it is a strugle that needs to be fixed ASAP.
Then take a dps with you to help you out or get some better gear so you can hit a little harder
Why should I have to? DPS players do it solo, so should tanks and healers. As a matter of fact, I just wrote I DID do it solo, it’s simply overtuned and boring.

Uh, what? No. The trash was actually harder solo as a priest than the boss. That’s one of my main complaints about torghast.
