I really enjoy Torghast in small doses because I like the other content in Shadowlands more (like practicing m+, helping guildies, explore the world, get transmogs, etc), but I also don’t want to miss out on the Maw mount.
Could it be possible to make a feature so once you complete each floor there’s a milestone option to save your progress and resume it next time you enter Twisting Corridors - can also make an option to start over as well. Your progress should probably work just like m+, where only members of the initial group could enter an active ID and only if they are all together in the party.
For me, I’d like to enter Torghast more, but the time I have to dedicate to it simply discourages me every time. Last time I entered I got to floor 9 before I got bored and asked if I wanted to do some other more desirable content.
At that time I wish I could’ve saved my progress - but lacking that option I teleported out and joined my friends in their activity.
EDIT: However, consider if it’s desirable to allow players through this feature to ‘retry’ a failed floor.
Agreed, I’m now at layer 5 and I actually find twisting corridors pretty fun, but it would be VERY nice if you could save your progress. TBH it doesn’t really have to be every floor, you could make it every 3 floors or even every 6 floors. It’s just too long to do in one sitting for a lot of players.
Yes, I agree. It makes a lot of sense to be able to save at each broker/vendor floor (incl. boss floors).
Yesterday I was presented with the dilemma when I was in Torghast to either drop the run i was in (at floor 7) and go on a m+ key push run with friends - or stick to my run and get it over.
For me, being faced with such a dilemma is excruciating because I do like playing Torghast, but there’s just never a moment where I want to dedicate the time for a full run. Throw in, that in the time it takes to complete an 18 floor run chances are that you’ll need to cook dinner/lunch, make tea for teatime or just have to pay some attention to the rest of the household.
