There is literally no good reason people can’t wait a few seconds. What exactly are they missing out on in those few seconds? It’s not like their time is actually valuable as they are playing WoW in the first place.
Regardless, it is the absolute flimsiest excuse to kick someone, giving them a thirty min debuff all because they have this bizarre “Must rush, must fast” mentality. And seeing as it is done TO give someone a debuff, it is literally harassment, which means breach of ToS and CoC.
But the funny thing is, people ONLY get banned for saying a bad word, because priorities
4 people want to finish the dungeon, 1 wants to backtrack. Sorry but the many outvote the few and there is zero reason why that 1 person can’t go back and finish the quests once they’re done.
If that 1 person is so entitled that their want trumps that of the 4 other players then well, the kick is justified.

Again, there is literally no rush for anything. If people want to get to max level to do chores endlessly, they are better off finding a mobile game where there is nothing else but chores.
So why not just go back after you clear the dungeon with the party?

how are you special that someone who is going forward should stop and wait for you to pick up books
when you can do that when dungeon is cleared
becasue as i said before you are not going ot be teleported out of the instance when everyone leaves

this has nothing to do with what you´ve done to get that boot.
I´m guessing you are new to the game and still learning the culture of how people play in dungeons.
you have to suck it up and understand that you were in the wrong, people here said you should have waited till the dungeon was completed, tbh you need a guild that will take things slow with you if you want to go back and forth in dungeons like that.
How people play in dungeons? Rushing at all costs, literally not waiting for anyone or anything… all to get to max level to do chores? If you don’t see the issue here then you are part of the problem.
And yes, it has everything to do with this. If Blizzard wants to keep their “no harassment” part of the ToS and CoC, then they should man up and actually follow that up when it occurs and is reported. If not, then they need to remove that rule since it doesn’t apply anyway and serves no purpose

You are ONE person, the group is made by other 4 people. You don’t get to say “screw everyone else i do whatever i want”, i mean, you can but then don’t come here screaming about ToS.
Your attitude is the problem. You moan about other’s inability to not rush, yet you literally said “screw everyone else” to backtrack and do a quest instead of helping the group in the activity you were supposed to be doing.

ToS is not there to protect you the player, the ToS is to protect blizzard from litigation.
When it is clearly written that harassment will not be tolerated, and yet, nothing is done about it when it occurs and is reported, then Blizzard just looks like fools.

You said “screw the group” first, you don’t get to complain about them deciding not wanting to stick with you.

Oh yes, totally, “Screw the group” by backtracking maybe 10 seconds for quest items that I didn’t get because I didn’t choose to get dropped into a dungeon that was half-way finished. Totally on me and not them for being redacted purposely.
You werent harrassed, you were a selfish manchild and it caught up with you.
What a rude awakening to understand the world doesnt revolve around you and it doesnt go dark when you sit down.

If it was 10 seconds i doubt they would have even noticed.
Could have easily backtraced once everything else was done and completed.
What you are failing to understand is, rules are not yours alone to decide, they are made by the group majority that decides what is acceptable and what is not.
Early BFA i told people to stop pulling literally everything in Underrot, like, all the tentacles on the way to last bost. Literally every single one, and was annoying as hell as a tank.
Answer? Nope, got kicked.
Guess the group preferred Ape-like plays, good on them.
During SL prepatch i was leveling and a guy pulled the entire corridor of a dung. We wiped cause some mobs in the corridor disorient the tank (thus making me lose all the aggro) and then typed “Lol this tank” as if the fault was mine. Result? The group kicked him.
Different groups, different outcomes.
You can’t expect everyone to see something, the exact same way as you.
Oh well, not even going to bother continuing this as I am apparently the only peson with any decency so ciao.
