Please whoever is in charge of shadowpriest remove voidform and PI. The class already feels so cluttered with skills that all have to be pushed into your rotation.
Tbf voidform prism pi and fae guardians playstyle is very hectic and overwhelming. But id rather that then the dull nothing is happening playstyle that would be left after remowing vf.
I would personaly love return of OG voidform from legion with mass hysteria stacks insanity etc etc for raiding. Ghost corruption build from bfa for m+ and current version for pvp. But thats just my personal wish.
I like bfa shadow, rly unique playstyle, now its another cd dps spec.
Going from shadowform to voidform just feels not only by playstyle but thematically aswelvery boring.
I wouldnt want the removal just for the sake of it but rather have a rework and center the playstyle around the existing skills.
bring back wotlk shadow priest ++spectral guise and cascade. old shadow form.
All classes should be designed like DH… 4 buttons maximum dps.

I think the only way to make everyone happy at this point would be separate the shadow priest from the void priest. Make a fourth specialization and keep for example the shadow priest of the shadow orbs and the void priest of the void form. The current state of shadow in pve is horrible, too much hoarding of resources and a very poor gaming experience especially based on the results. Personally, I prefer the priest of the orbs of pandaria and wod, but if we talk about voinform I prefer the previous two expansions a thousand times over this badly designed cd.
4th spec void priest and bringing old shadow back im down for that, this would satisfy those who want old shadow back and those who like voidform.

this actually would best option. I hate void form and everything related to it. Shadow priest died in legion and im still waiting…to get my SHADOW priest playable again, once more.
they could remove shadow crash void form and void bolt and make it in to an instant cast.
I WOULD LIKE to see Mind Flay and Mind Sear buffed quite a bit in damage AND i would like them to heal me for some of the damage they do to the enemies.
I Holy Priest and im happy enough where that is, it performs well enough in the content i do to be enjoying and competitive but Shadow Priest is generally fun though terrible and i can easly surpass it in an undergeared BM Hunter but as its so much fun just a little buff like that could make all the difference i think and we just cope with the “too many options and things to stuff into the rotation” playstyle eh.
There were times when mindflay did good dmg and it lead to the rotation involving around it which made the gameplay really boring, its better that mind flay and sear are just fillers.
I would like to see our passive dark though gone and blizzard adding something intresting that don’t seam like a joke. Rather than butchering the specc fix the class should it be that hard?
Tbh just make Void eruption and voidform separate from each other, slap on a 20-50 insanity cost to eruption and remove cast time, that way we have a decent aoe available baseline. Rework searing nightmare into something passive that makes Eruption apply both dots.
And then either give us some more valuable movement baseline or rework Leap to be like warriors Heroic Leap but with greater distance
As for our lack of utility, rework Embrace to be a party/raid wide buff that gives a great bit of leech 10-20% and slap a silence/interrupt/stun immunity on top
Shadow Crash… Just swap it out for Cascade already
Dot’s either make them useful or remove them completely. In case of removal my Searing Nightmare rework idea from earlier would become Void Eruption and Devouring Plague hits twice
Power Word: Shield. Rework it to Void Shield, it’s passive and regenerate out of combat and in combat it is restored by X% damage
Everything they tied to Vampiric Touch and Mind Flay in 9.0 return it to Shadow Word: Pain. This would actually make more things useful
And it’s about time that Shadow Word: Death became as strong as other executes or preferably even stronger, especially seeing as we take damage from it, Just nerf returned damage to be like 5-10% of damage dealt
Current mastery is alright, but I wouldn’t mind it returning to MoP multihit version, but this time just make it affect all abilities, rather than just pain. And maybe add Shadowy Apparitions to it as well with a separate % scale (If this happens, we can’t really have Auspicious Spirits anymore, so replace it with a talent that makes Fiend/Bender permanent?)
Idk but I think this would help get us back on track again on the aoe front while keeping single target as it is mostly
Edit: More for utility buffs. Pain could increase all damage done to the target by 10% and Touch let’s attackers heal for X% of damage done
Our 2 set in this new tier and our lvl 30 talent row, along with our legendarys this expansion for 2 years of nothing, proves one thing to me that blizzard don’t know anything considering our passive ability’s and damage ability’s.
I hope they rework the gameplay as well so other classes has a chance in leader boards.-
