I think it’s because they associate vulpera with furries, which to be honest are degenerates IRL.

That’s it, to be honest. in fairness, some people who play Vulpera don’t help the situation by playing up to it. Maybe it is because I only play on a Roleplay realm, but so far my interaction with people playing Vulpera has been them totally playing the species as depicted in game, no comedy cutesiness, no silliness at all, in fact.

It is just a massively foolish idea that Vulpera=‘Furries’. It is kind of lazy thinking, and like most lazy thinking, it doesn’t stand up to any scrutiny, and makes the one assuming Vulpera=Furries look pretty stupid.

It’s a bit harsh calling Furries ‘degenerates’. It is a kink. it really isn’t my cup of tea (Though I have a Vulpera I shall be levelling soon. I also have a Worgen, Tauren and Pandaren….) and I will never understand how people can find beastpeople arousing, I just don’t see it, at all. This said, it is not the same as bestiality as far as I am aware, which most certainly -is- degenerate, as an animal cannot give informed consent. As well as it just being frickin’ weird. I mean even Furries must surely know that it is another human inside the costume…

I mean, lets face it, there are a lot of people who keep banging on about how ‘Hot’ Sylvanas is.

Ermm. She’s dead, stupid! She is deceased! Finding Sylvanas attractive is showing nascent n3crophilia, and that definitely -is- degenerate. Whilst she was alive, fine, but as a dead person? not so good. I mean it is quite telling that in ‘Dark Mirror’ we learn that humans in Stormwind are intrigued by her appearance, whereas in ‘Shadow of the Sun’ we learn that to Blood (and by extension High) Elves, she is far from pretty, and looks pretty nauseating to them.

If you are anti Vulpera then you should be honest with yourself, and also be anti Worgen, Pandaren, Tauren, Draenei and some Trolls (Who actually have fur).

We all know the secret reason why it is Vulpera that are catching the flak. They’re small.

Same reason Gnomes and Goblins get flak. Same way people say that Blood Elves are weak, despite actually having the build of an athlete or MMA cage fighter. If it ain’t a physically impossible 'roid beast, it ain’t a real race.

Now that…that does show some insight into the person behind the screen and their kinks…

I mean just playing a human character doesn’t make you someone who is into ‘bears’ (Don’t look it up) but if that is your idea of physical perfection and attractive, then…that kind of does. And again, its a thing. Nothing wrong with people predominantly finding massively muscled and hairy men attractive, not my bag personally, but each to their own.

And yet we don’t get the same assumption about people playing human male characters…or Orcs…

So really, given that most of the sentient and sapient races on Azeroth are beastfolk, given that they have been playable since the start (Tauren), and given that they are never sexualised by Blizzard themselves, but only by people who -claim- to hate them, but seem a little fixated by them, then this whole thing makes no sense whatsoever…

No you’re not. Unless this is a very slow building and elaborate way of warning us about a Zombie Apocalypse you are not Undead, but are a human who plays an Undead. I’ll never understand how people on non-rp realms identify so heavily with their characters, you would have thought it would be the other way around.

Players become so associated with the game that their pride themselves into being a character who has actually no backstory, no real character development interaction with each other or even at least a Total RP 3 profile. It’s kinda living in your very own bubble, pretending, to be someone while in reality you’re on a normal player server, standing next to an Orc in a fursuit from the BlizzCon 2019 package.

Enough said about the OP. This is wow, not real world politics, people are entitled to have their opinion. Even if kicking out someone in a dungeon because of this is not ok, it doesn’t mean everyone would do the same. I’m not a fan of vulperas nor do I dislike them, but I respect everyone’s opinion and so should you.

Once you go Goblin Jump, you just can’t go back. Gust of Wind was a fine workaround but for some reason that talent got removed.

Oh I definitely enjoy the goblin racials. They’re very fitting and I daresay even good; which makes it odd they haven’t been nerfed into oblivion yet, like most good racials. Not enough to pick the race solely for them though, made my hunter goblin due to goblins just being cool. Guess it’s not a bad thing people have different priorities though.

Well truth be told, I don’t solely pick Goblin for the racials. I also like goblins a lot. Scrooge McDuck is one of my favorite characters and Goblins are rather close to him.

Also one of my very first characters was a Tauren who too often got stuck in doorways, so to soothe my flashbacks from a voice in my head that’s simply screaming “DOOR STUCK” I do tend to pick goblin over other races. Shame there’s no goblin druids yet. Although I would prefer an undead druid over a goblin druid, probably, due to the fact that I like the idea of having a rotting bear.

Believe me, I hate left extremists who see and accuse others of sexism and racism over nothing. Hell, when I took a class on Sociology in Music in college I must have been the first one to roll my eyes when one of my classmates tried to do a presentation all about feminism Inc.
