It has been 15 years with WoW and the game never been this toxic and Blizz is simply helping it. Very simple example. Today I joined a Plagueland random shadowlands dungeon with my fellow buddy ( Mage and Tank ). It was our first shadowlands dungeon and we just wanted to kill all the boss. But our Healer and 2 dps friends decided not to. They said they will not help and will kick us if we dont skip. So they kicked us and we couldnt do anything about it plus the dungeon debuff. Thanks a lot blizz. WHY are we paying you really ??? What was our fault ??? Seriously Blizz should wake up and stop this toxicity. Reported all 3 but guess nothing will happen.

Quick suggestion here - get your 197 covenant gear, join a dungeon community(i can recommend Scared of Dungeons) and go straight to m0 - skip the heroics for levelling, they teach you absolutely jack about mechanics (as do m0, but once yo get your first keystone some basic mechanics kick in)- i’d be happy to help you out in dungeons if and when i am available

Although I wouldn’t have phrased it quite like this, I do agree with the sentiment.
Dungeons are a group activity. As such you have to agree as a group what you want to do. Many dungeons have extra bosses that can be skipped. Sometimes groups are happy to do them all and other times they just want to skip. It is far better to go with the majority and skip and queue up again than to be removed and suffer the deserter debuff because you wouldn’t go with the majority.
Personally I just tend to ask at the start if we are skipping or doing all. I am easy going and am happy to do either. It can be annoying if you have a quest or something that needs doing but if you ask nicely you can often get a group to help out. However sometimes they just want to do it fast.

Been there buddy. Also happened the other way around too. A tank was being really rude (I cant say what he was saying on here) and saying he will just solo the dungeon if we don’t skip. All 4 of us wanted to do all, so we just kicked him. Thats what the vote kick is for, kicking rude pieces of dung. We got a new tank that was really nice and actually asked if we wanted to kill all bosses or skip, and had a much nicer time.
Problem is, people abuse the system the wrong way too.

He was not being toxic . You been one dungeon and make a very broad statement claiming the game is very toxic . Yes it has some bad players but to me a 16 year vet its just the same as its always been .
Please do not tar everyone one with the same brush and before exploding on people on the forums try and read there words Odrihm said NOTHING bad or wrong at you far from it .

Don’t you think that the majority, who may be leveling their Nth alt, have a right to finish the dungeon as fast as possible?
In summary, no, you do not have the right to tell others what they should do. If the majority decides they wanna skip, you either go along, or face the consequences. You do not have the right to their time, nor their goals.
That’s where you’re wrong. It’s a random group, the majority decides what happens. OP had the chance to go along, they were warned they’ll be kicked if OP doesn’t go along - they didn’t, they got kicked. Those three did everything reasonably: they gave a chance to the other two, and followed through when they refused to go along.
Don’t like it? Find others who want to finish the dungeon, queue with them, and then you won’t have this “problem”. Or just tag along, and see the skipped bosses some other time.
