Toxic elitists that don't want RDF?

You ignored what I said and repeated the same fallacy?!

RDF makes the game easier not better. Humans have a tendency to take the easy route when it is an option. It is well known in game development that you must protect the players from them selves to create an enjoyable experience.

This is why the creator of Darksouls refuses to add an easy mode into his games, he knows that an easy mode will lead people to have a less satisficing experience and he is happy to piss of a few people screaming “GIVE ME EASY MODE” because he knows it leads to the better experience.

It is such a common mind set of modern gamers to want to feel good for 5 minutes then drop it. “YEAH LETS MAKE LEVELING TWICE AND FAST, AND CASUAL PLAYERS WITH NO GEAR SHOULD BE ABLE TO RAID WITHOUT STRUGGLING OR LEARNING TACTICS”. If devs gave these people everything they wanted every game would be 30 minutes long. Maybe go outside a bit and extend your attention span.

Toxic entitled elitists from retail want to ruin wotlk classic just because they want so. :unamused: We shuld not listen to them, they dont like wotlk classic, the game is not for them.

No, getting faster to 80 and concentrating on end game activities faster is indeed actually a better thing instead of tediously slugging till 80

The real game starts there and everything beforehand is just pointless 1 time filler

This is retail game model you are talking about. Go to retail. Wotlk classic is not for you if you think this way.

Don’t lie Classic Andy troll. There is a game for you, is called Classic Era. If you don’t want RDF that version is for you, if is dead it happens only because not even you want to play that version, so stop taking WOTLK from real WOTLK fans that want WOTLK as it was between 2008 and 2010, I shouldn’t go to Retail because you want to steal WOTLK from us and turn it into Vanilla. If you want to change WOTLK to remove a WOTLK feature like RDF it means you don’t want to play WOTLK, you want to play Vanilla, and you have that, is called Classic Era.

This argument makes no sense, the slow levelling we are experiencing is exactly how it was in WOTLK originally at launch, don’t complain about changing it from the original then claiming to be a “real WOTLK fan”. Clearly what you are after is the private server experience with 5 times exp rates. We like levelling, we like it being slow to experience the the story line, we like taking different routes to level, mixing up activities.

We don’t want the rush to 80 only end game matters, that is a modern ideal, classic was made because people wanted to escape that and the retail players flock here acting entitled.

They have already made so many changes to appease these retail players that “real” old school wow players dont like, so no, RDF won’t get added, and thank you blizzard for making sure of it.

Are people also forgetting that this is the expansion they introduced Herilooms? you only have to slow level once, then you get exp increasing gear and flying in northrend from level 70.

This entire argument will vanish after a few weeks once slower players reach 80 (my self included in that catagory) as people will be levelling alts twice as fast.

Yeah it was horrible to level without and at 80, the time i use to find a HC group is insane!

I never said I wanted RDF NOW. I am in no rush, I am just level 71 because I took my time to level doing every quest and reading everything and doing every dungeon once when I have completed all the zone quests and therefore the story points me to the dungeon is fine. But RDF was added mid-WOTLK, so it should be added mid-Classic WOTLK.

Well tough luck buddy because I do. And if I don’t get it by tomorrow I’m gonna delete all my characters and refund my sub!! Do you hear me Blizzard???

People keep saying “mid” like ICC launch was mid expac, it wasn’t, LFD was added in the LAST major patch of the expansion, just because it took a while to get cataclysm out and there was a huge content drought for a year doesn’t mean it was “mid” expansion.

With the classic life cycle it would only be out for a few months at best and at that point, why bother.

All you other guys who want RDF like I do need to do the same in protest to show Blizzard that we mean business. If they don’t give us RDF by tomorrow we ALL delete our toons and refund or cancel our subs. We’re gonna show these toxic elitists that we mean business.

You sound like you do.

Rdf was added by mistake at the end of wotlk and should not be added at any point in wotlk CLASSIC because rdf is a retail feature that does not belong in classic

(In Emperor Palpatine’s voice) Do it.

I am only responsible for my words and I never said that. Your beliefs about me are yours, not mine. You should only judge people by their words and acts, and don’t make any assumptions. In case of doubt ask because I am myself, only my beliefs, my acts, and my words define me, your beliefs about me don’t represent me.

I told you the same, don’t make assumptions about me. I am perfectly fine with Classic WOTLK having RDF on ICC Phase, the same point it was added in OG WOTLK. If you call that point End-WOTLK or I call it Mid-WOTLK it won’t change anything.

Wotlk released in Nov 2008. RDF was added at 8 Dec 2009. Cata was released at Dec 2010. Technically RDF was available almost half of expac

I like your new hat dude
