Hi y’all,
I was doing a bit of research on Battle pet interaction and discovered that the toxic wasteling had quite a nice one. When a Critter enters it’s range, it will attack the critter and consume it to grow larger as per it’s description:
“This, um, ‘adorable’ little guy likes to play with critters. Just don’t let them get too close.”

It’s a very in character interaction for a slime and would make for some cool interaction both in raids waiting to pull & RP elements in cities.
However, it seems that the growing effect no longer works in Retail WoW.
Would love to see it back
