Toxicity in BG's, but real toxicity

Goal of every BG is to win and to do objectives, and for reason it called Battle ground. So if you dont do objectives in BG or you just dont care dont play it, maybe this option of game is not for you, play PVE. I understand that nobady can win every single time and that ok but dont complain when ppl tell you that you dont do something good or you doing it bad, ppl like to compete and to win. If you dont like to compete and to win i think you are on wrong side of game, go gather herbs, mounts you are not obligated to do pvp stuff. So it YOU who are toxic, who dont care and you ruining game for ppl who care. Also why is allowed to too low lvl ppl join BG even for normal dungeon you need to have item lvl to join and for heroic, why it different for ppl who like to go to BG’s?

In a battleground gear is the least important part. Sure, if you want to 1v1 someone, it might be important, but a BG is not only PvP fights.

It’s capturing objectives, defending them, being in the right spot at the right time.

And even if you’re low geared (or low skilled for that class), you can always be useful in some way, like checking they’re not backdooring in Ashran, getting in a vehicle in Wintergrasp/IoC, go with a team mate to capture a graveyard/tower, while they pull the mobs, you can freely capture. The same rules apply for normal BGs too, not only for epics.

BGs are Player versus Player scenarios and understanding how you can help your team might give you the edge in winning or losing.

most of time low geared ppl are not helpful, they run straight to battle and die again. I know it not everything about dmg but i dont see problem with implement required item lvl for random BGs too

Most of the time it’s not low geared people, but people with low honor level. You can check that in the roster panel (click on the queue eye or press Shift+Space).

And it’s not because they’re not geared, it’s because they don’t understand that each battleground comes with a set of “rules” and they just try to zerg their way, rather than be useful and do objectives.

Arguably, you could use the in-game chat to teach them to be better. Or ask for lead and lead the entire BG to victory. You’d be amazed, but even low geared or low skilled players can follow a couple of well sent raid warnings, it’s not rocket science.

On the other hand, you need to keep in mind that the opposing team will have their share of low gear or low skill players, so you’re not losing because of the lowbies.

To even expand on my counter argument, there are sometimes some big pumpers, very good at their class, with good gear that keep busy the opposing team. If you have only elite players in random BGs because of gear level restrictions, then the BGs would just be endless giga fights that ignore completely the BGs mechanics and the biggest pumper wins.
