(toxicity in game)And i got kicked from random normal dungeon,(just wow)!

You have to understand the game has an ever increasing number of entitled sociopaths. They see WoW, not as a game but as a series of ‘chores’ and these chores need to be completed as quickly as possible but on their terms. This is why you see people using mounts to move from one objective to another even though it is only 5 feet away, speed, speed and more speed.

They don’t want to help or interact with others as it hinders their progress and if you don’t view the game in the same way as them you are not welcome.

NEVER join LFR or pug any content the good times are far outweighed by the asshats

You have no idea how wrong that mindset is. If I decided to start a vote king on you for no reason at all and the rest of the team boots you out of the group you would just accept it?

People have tried to do content as fast as possible before m+ even was introduced. We had a few unofficial competitions in speedruns on my old realm in TBC for heroic dungeons.

Sadly we seem to have reached that stage in the expansion when the midlife crisis gamers are trying to flex on normal dungeons (why spend money on a p***s extension car when you can make yourself feel good by overgearing content and thus pretending you are better then all the people in their leveling gear??).

By this I mean lately Ive done quite a few normals where the tank just runs through as much of the dungeon as possible picking up all the mobs and causing everybody to wipe as the healer cant save them and the DPS have already died to stray mob aggro.
and people think you cant wipe on normal…

To be fair most people react like lemmings in regards of a votekick window popping up and just click on yes.

It’s not “majority consent”. It’s “everyone but you’s consent”. 3 people voting is not enough. You need all 4 to hate you in order to get kicked.

In that sense, Enumar, you didn’t just try to have fun. You tried having your selfish fun at the expense of 4 other people. And you complain about them? When each of them can come write a thread here about you.

Elitism is you thinking the entire group should conform to your style of play, or they’re “disgusting” and “intolerable”. Really… who do you think here is the toxic person?

MMO is a genre where you play with other people. That’s the point of the entire genre’s existence. If you want to play however you want, go play singleplayer games. In an online game, you don’t get to always do whatever you want, because you need to consider other people.

I’m glad vote kick is in the game.

you sound like toxic person to me ngl

Lmao. I can relate to this.

Wanted to do a normal dungeon just to get my calling done. The tank is lvling and inspects me, starts pulling like crazy after seeing my gear. Like, ok. Then we wipe because I got chain stunned. Then he does the same thing in the stitchflesh room again, he just pulls the whole room and I get chain stunned again aand we wipe again, lol.

Absolutely untrue. You only need 3.

When content is DESIGNED to be a certain way it makes the issue FAR FAR worse.

It’s just the wrong way to do it if you take your time-- that is an entirely different thing.

I always found it baffling that Mythic+ timed wasn’t just one mode, as in a mode very much aimed at streaming and ultra-competitive play between teams. With the rewards being the prestige of topping league tables and perhaps some fancy transmog sets or mounts. To me it seems ridiculous that timed-go-go is the universal way to play. That would mean the average player is only compelled to do it once, or indeed all the time if that’s the kind of things they like.

It has utterly ruined dungeons for me.

3 people voting is enough to get you booted.I can’t recall how many times you have to try but you can kick people with only 3 votes it just can’t be from the first vote i would say go out and test it but i wouldn’t want you to grief anyone.

How is the mindset wrong? I’m telling you how the system works . It’s how life works even if you don’t like it . I have been kicked like that for no reason just joined and got instantly booted because they were a 4 premade kicking for luls. What you want me not to sleep because of it or?

but thats the fault of devs that do not handle toxic players at all.

toxicity breeds toxicity

you have no such problem in FF14because community nicely polices itself when they have tools and GMs that are not afraid of perma banning toxic people

Excellent work avoiding to answer my question.

Apologies for intervening but he did answer it. He has been getting kicked out and just like many of us have been kicked out we can either create a consequence (leave the game) or continue living knowing that there are figural aholes everywhere.

No matter how you turn your body, your butt will still always be behind you. I dont think anyone sees it as “okay” to do this but it is, what it is and us ordinary non ahole people have to just keep living.

No he didn’t.

I asked this:

He came back with this not confirming or denying his reaction to that situation instead he talked around it and told me an incident where he got memed on by a premade which is not related to the original query of if he was in a group of randoms and all of a sudden i decided to vote kick him and the 2 sheep in the group accepted it and he got booted would be be satisfied with that and not be upset with it?

Can’t get any more toxic than being kicked right at the end of the dungeon before engaging final boss :joy:

I used to play WoW a long, long time ago (10 years or so), and I started playing again a week ago: it’s never happened to me in the past but it’s happened twice today, I’ve been kicked from the dungeon group. The first time I think it was because I took the wrong way, the second I don’t really know… I don’t think I was playing that poorly. I noticed the other players were all ten or more levels higher than me, could this be a reason? Maybe they did’t want a level 39 to tank… I really don’t know.

I’m kind of sad, truth be told.
