Yes I agree
A mage of level 16 to achieve 6000 points, good job to the mage! I am getting levels 20 already now,200 achievemence points
I have heard alot of this lately. It doesn’t matter really what your dps is. If you are not top on the meter, then the one on top will be sure to let you know…
But it is mostly blood dk tanks that are acting douchy so far this season. I just had one who were just 1k over the druid healers 4k, and he was busy pointing fingers at everybody else. He even kicked the healer just before the last boss died.
The report button gets alot of use these days.
IT is simptomatic though that you written what healer dps was but didnt write down what was dps of dps.
And tbh as someone with tank alts myself i understand their frustration .
Its something which you also see cery often - the difference of quality of players is showing much more when numbers get bigger.
Even this season its so visible. You have some groups where everyone is bursting for 50k+ aoe and 20k + st on bosses with bl and everything melts. Then you have other groups with people barely doing 20k aoe and like 10k at burst and stuff Takes forever to Die. Then frustrations happen
There is nothing worse then people learning the dungeons and how to Play on like +16-17. And yet they feel like they deserve to be there just because someone carried their keys because of vp
How it should be:
The price of PUGs is to have to play with / tolerate others of varying skill levels. Those who absolutely must finish a dungeon 30 seconds faster should join guild / community to group with players of their skill level.
How it actually is:
The price of PUGs is to have to play with / tolerate others of varying levels of toxicity. Those who absolutely must play for fun in a chilled group should join guild / community to group with players of their friendliness level.
Not sure how we make it like it should be rather than how it actually is…
People who scam their way into 14 and 15 keys and do like 4-8k dps are heroes.
Me too… Most often though its because people don’t know the mechanics or just plain and simply don’t have enough gear to pull the dps required.
In m+ though? The moment a wipe happens for whatever mistake the easiest scapegoat is per tradition the lowest on the dps meeter.
Remember my earliest keys in season 3 where we wiped on the first boss in tyranical, And I just became the groups total toilet because I didn’t have 4/4 tier pieces.
If i remember correctly the tanks exact words where ‘‘This damage would have been bad even for last season’’ Since we all wiped and died, Everybody dogpiled on and put me trough the furnace. All fully geared and 4/4 tier pieces each of them.
Excuse me… why would that be the case? I can see it being a thing for queueable content, but when it comes to PUG content you create a group for you have every right to be selective about their skill levels.
I was primarily referring to this content. I see a lot of threads talking about players (especially new / inexperienced) being vote-kicked for low performance (even from leveling dungeons). When in queued content you should make the best of the group you get, it’s random.
When it comes to high keys or raiding a more selective approach is needed but even here it doesn’t need to be toxic. In raids if some advice might help the situation that is a good place to start rather than insta-kick.
Daily live in m+.
nah they will jusy quit
that comment though is surprising very accurate very often .
i mean im super bad on my fire mage - the dmg i do on it is dps a really good fire mage could pull in S2 -_-
and to be fair if anyone commented how bad it is my resposnse woudl be - mate im well aware of it i just want to be carried in 15s for gear which would be more honest then pretending its ok to do numbers im doing on it.
This sort of thing saddens me, most people who struggle at any aspect of the game are new players, scared to say that they’re new (or at least new to this type of content) get treated badly and then don’t come back.
This is a big part of why this game has no players anymore, having played classic recently, where many of the same problems (raid or die) are as true as they are in retail, however the player base is welcoming and forgiving of mistakes.
This encouraged me to try again and get it right next time. Being insulted in a key for failing a mechanic doesn’t have the same “keep going” feel to it
I think raiding, kind of kept a more chill attitude, i mostly see people leaving or the biggest complainy especially early weeks is usually dps.

Being insulted in a key for failing a mechanic doesn’t have the same “keep going” feel to it
Problem that a big failure in a key, not only undermine that specifc boss but also put a question mark in a 30 min effort.
You suck in a raid boss, group waste 2 min.
Next try they told you how to deal with the mechanic and they go at it again.
In a key if you are bad over the course of it you make group waste 30 min and the timer just isn’t something helpful to people on the contrary it stress them. And on top of that leader end up with a worse key cause of you.
It is the system that suck

well if you are new player who is just learning how game works you have no buisness to be in high keys.
do +2 or +4 - then nobody will insult you .
if you want to do big boys keys then you cannot expect just to be carried without paying for boost.
i honestly dont understand why really weak players think they deserve to do +15s . its ok to do +7 or +10 or +12. there is nothing bad about it. why do you think you automatickly deserve a carry just because you have key for example.
ofc you can try to find people naive enough to do it for free but you cannot expect them not to voice it out loud.
The thing is that simply isn’t true, personally I can hold my own in high keys, however I’ve been helping new friends into the game, and in to my guild. Many of them are scared of doing keys as low as 5 because they’ve had a bad experience with other players, and it takes them timing several keys with a guild group to feel better about it.
We can’t make people be nice, however it certainly doesn’t help encourage people to pick up the game when there’s so much expectation and so little help, unless they have the good fortune to know someone in the system already.
Agree with me or not, it doesn’t matter, the result is the same, people not playing the game and the game losing popularity

and it takes them timing several keys with a guild group to feel better about it.
Your friends honestly seems a tad too sensible if i am being honest about it.
Plus if they are legit new, i doubt that you are helping them by roflstomping the dungeon for them.
We did their keys with them, we didn’t put them through anything above what they are capable of. However thanks for the input
I was just trying to point out that insulting people whether deserved or not, is not going to make them want to keep playing, and over time, this results in less players, and no real desire for new players to enter the rats nest and take their place.
