Toy Box going forward

Hello fellow collectors of Achievement Points, Toys, Mounts & More!

To put it simply; there are a lot of items sitting in wow that I, genuinely believe should be in the toy box. So this thread is to accumulate those as a database and hopefully bring it to the attention of Blizzard (20 threads later)

I’m aware there is the argument for things such as “I don’t have that anymore?!? why shouldn’t I get it?!?” and I present to you, Devs were able to restore multiple appearances at the release of Transmog, I’m sure they can find a solution for deleted toys etc and restore a large quantity of them.

Main factors are;

  1. The items i’m suggesting are either farmable
  2. Incredibly low drop % / Removed
  3. Make sense being allocated to the toy box as they match other toys

Yes, please, I tire of losing bag slots to carrying a Direbrew remote and swapblaster just to troll my raid with now and then.

It’d be so much more user friendly also having a collected database.

Excellent list, my bank just fills up more and more with items that feel they belong on there.

This is fantasic thread idea, thank you for putting in
All of this hard work to make the thread. I wish all Holllawen decorations, which you put on the party member, will go in your list.

And while we are at it we need a better toy system as some of the toys arent really toys but kinda useful items. There are so many toys now in the game and I probably dont even know that I have half of them. It would be good to actually have 2 lists like for toys and for gadgets or sth like that.

I know I can favourite toys and I do that, but if I favourite my useful toys and just visual toys There are so many of them mixed up… I still end up with few pages of all sort of toys. And even if you know you have a specific toy but dont know its name its really hard to filter toys so you still end up going through all those pages of toys to find that specific one…

Don’t forget about

Orb of the Blackwhelp

There should be some kind of filter on the toys collection based on what the toy does. For example two will be teleport toys and character transform toys, but probably there are more groups of toys.

If you lost lara’s locket from the firelands/regrowth area that transforms you into a firedruid then you can reaquire it via a small quest chain.

I was wondering for years how i am going to get this back. I checked the deleted items list to restore it. Not there so then i found out it was moved to a quest chain that you can complete (again).

Don’t change the operation of the Swapblaster.

I have seen it used to help a player in a group dungeon experiencing difficulties with movement. It is useful for disabled players in some situations. :handshake:

But I agree there are quite a few items that could become toys. It is difficult to throw stuff out, in case it gets a new lease of life and suddenly becomes important. :gift:

Maybe a (player defined) RP tab could be added to organise it a bit better, as the toy box is getting bigger ? :sunglasses: :mountain:

Swapblaster should just be added into the toy box and remain the same.

It would be nice to add some of the more obvious things to the toy box.

Id go a step further and add old trinkets as well. Many of them have really fun effects (like dropping a toy elephant on your enemies head!) or good RP uses (like summoning a wolf or dragon or raccoon).
It would be great if we could disable the damage of old trinkets and drop them in our toy box.

Just a note about the toy box. Some of them are really useful such as the foam sword at high levels so you dont one shot named mobs and mess up the quest.

The foam sword is more like a utility than a toy.

Thats true, its such a great little tool.

I recently had to use that. Fantastic toy.

It should be possible to make toys in your toy box into items so you can actually access them. The toy box menu is small and stuffed with too many items and it’s a bother to even open it. It would be great to be able to make my favourite toys into items I can have in my bags (and delete if I don’t want that quick access anymore) similar to heirlooms

Someone suggested before that it would be nice to sort them into categories. Even my favourites span more than one page.

Mine do too, and I am not an avid toy user. As for sorting into categories… I think it would be hard to really bundle things together in any sensible way

This should be a toy
