Your best options are removing yourself from trade chat, moving it to a different window or using the Badboy addon to prevent the spam as much as possible.
The boost spammers aren’t going anywhere soon and Blizzard doesn’t care enough to stop them.

The only spam I see on trade are the people linking Dirge, Thunderfury and other random stuff. Still need to figure out how to tell BadBoy to filter those out too. Haven’t seen a boost ad in half a year or so.
Yeah, but if I put “Thunderfury” there, it still doesn’t seem to filter the item links for some reason. Same goes for achievement and spell links, sadly. Haven’t dug into it, as it doesn’t bother me that much.
There is a reason communication died in this game.
Probably an issue with it being a linked item i suppose. Probably not capable of filtering it. Adding “did someone say” or “did someone mention” might do the trick for thunderfury in particular tho. For Dirge just bann the a-word as most of it is related to it anyhow

Nova ?bot spam
Its the boosting community i do not respect in any form or way. Hence why i added them personally on the list. To be fair, there are others on it as well because of the spam being unbearable but you would have to scroll down
Argent dawn’s trade is very alive.
I keep trade chat in separated window ,so i don’t have to fiddle with addons.

You auto join when creating new character and entering a city.
You have to manually leave it. Sadly I’ve been leaving it for the last couple of years. Want trade back, but realize that is a lost cause and honestly the channel should be renamed /boost, because that is all there is to it these days. It’s exactly like the old chinese gold spam, and equally useless and terrible.
Yes, I get triggered by it.

I have badboy, I try my harded to ban Nova and every single word associated with them, but they still get through when they use <<<>>> does the <> get filtered out if you have nova in badboy or you need to add those symbols
One of the first things I do when creating a new character is /leave 2. After that I make sure that BadBoy spam blocker is enabled and that I have room in my ignore list for the very few spammers that get through all of that.
I don’t think so, beside those booster and illegal service sellers. I always leave the trade chat on my characters.

I enjoining Burning Legion chat xD On the Outland server on trade chat between boosting spam is only anal spam. Ppl are bored this exciting pre patch 
Nova should get filtered out. However they can change how nova is written and that would affect it. However being as obnoxious as they are its just a matter of time until Nova gets smacked on the head again.
Badboy has an unlimited ignore list feature.
We need a seperate default chat window peculiar to boosts so that we can read anal spam peacefully on trade chat.
