As the title says, I Traded one of my “stolen Hearthstone card” drops and now I cannot complete “hearthstone card collection” achievement. It seems there is a quest that is mapped to looting specific event Items and now mine seems completed. Even if a friend trades me their card it shows empty upon opening for me and it stays there in my inventory. Seems I’m stuck here 
I even opened a ticket about this but unfortunately there is a 9 day waiting time which is past the date which the event ends. I have tried to loot the event boss so many times for the last couple of days now that I’ve lost count. There seem to be more people with the same issue (wowhead, US forums etc.). Please let us know if there is going to be a solution to this.

edit 2 : My friend could not trade me the missing card and got an error when tried. Also the hotfix doesnt seem to apply since i still cannot get any cards from the minigame
Same here. I tried from a second account to my main, since i saw that the achivement was not marking the same cards on both. The item also showed as empty, so i traded backand used it, this was on day 1, and i was missing only one card. Since that, my main has got no more cards, the second acount got one, until i noticed they were both stuck on the same card, Blessing of Light.
Ive seen some more people talkign about this on wowhead, and saying the same thing, after trade, no more cards dropped.
I submited a ticket ingame, still hoping we will be able to finish this 
If the 2nd account is on the same bnet, it will be stuck as well since the progress is blizzard account wide. There is a theory that if someone else loots completing that specific quest id that the card is mapped to, then it can be visible after trading the unopened pack, all the rest will just show an empty pack because they are completed in the achievement. But even IF it works and IF someone is willing to try the whole achievement from scratch just to test this, if they trade the card then they will be locked in the achievement themselves
Same problem here, I traded the last hearthstone stolen card I needed from my 2nd account to my main account and both of my account cant open it and now the game completed this last card so I cant loot anymore, opened a ticket and i’m still waiting for a response or a hotfix from blizzard before the event ends…
Are your accounts on the same bnet or different? cause on the same bnet progress should be the same anyway, why would you trade the card?
The habit of proc achievements in my main character, that was stupid this time but how can I know this will be totally bugged ? :')
which card are you missing? As I said there is a quest completed every time you loot a certain item, for example i’m missing chillwind yeti and the relevant quest is 79421. If I run the macro to see if my quest for that is completed I get it true: /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(79421)) and for every quest that you get true ofc you cannot loot again meaning you cannot complete the quest again

Well I’m still trying with a friend that doesnt care about the achievement. We are killing the boss and he trades me his card, if I open it and there is nothing there I give it back and it has stuff for him. He hasnt looted the one I need yet, so Im wondering if he loots it if the missing one shows up for me. But this is no solution honestly. I dont understand why a unique item would be tradable. Having an achievement incomplete it’s actually a big deal for people that do achievements. I’m hoping for a fix. I have a ticket opened from yesterday and the wait time is 8-9 more days

This issue seems to have been reported to our developers, however I’m afraid that we do not have a solution to offer at the moment. Hoping that this can be addressed soon. 
I’m thinking that reseting the specific quest id that bugged to false will let me loot my final card. I have opened a ticket about this with all the details but I’m losing hope
I’m afraid that Customer Support is unable to reset a quest’s ID via ticket, Xalebech. A solution would need to be done by the developers. Sorry. 
There was a time that CS could resolve bugged achievements and quests. What’s the point of opening tickets and having to wait for days to get no actual help? Don’t mean to be rude or anything and forgive my frustration. I’m just stack here with days wasted and a bugged achievement which is actually a big deal for some players.
CS has never been able to solve every single bug or achievement, some things need to be fixed by our developers. This was true then, and this remains true now.
I can definitely understand that this is frustrating, and the developers seem to agree with you as they’ve announced that the event would be extended by 4 days.
I understand that things are being done to help, but how does this extension help something thats is bugged I just wanna enjoy the game
