Trading in SoD is ridiculous!

300g for a blue pre bis boe that’ll be obsolete in weeks. Get out of it.

A popular one is Hubert’s helm selling roughly 50-70g. Just levelling your engineering up and get green tinted goggles if you really want something in that slot.

Needing on pre bis items in dungeons then trying to sell it to someone else in the group for 10g… Get a life.

Honest trading isn’t really a thing in this game is it.

2 months locked at 25, quests at 25 worth a gold each, aswell as more…

The economy was inevitably going to massively inflate.

Levelling + dojng all quests at 25 will met 100g each, given time to do so, u could prolly do 10 chars and net 1k gold if you set ur mind to it

As long as people are buying others will be selling. Ever heard the expression “As long as there are sheeps there will be shaves”?

If its to much for you then don’t buy it and live with the fact that you are less optimized… Or pay up. Easy as that really.

I won’t pay for it. I’m fine with being less optimized. I still get into bfd groups and still roll for loot which is better.

I’m just trying to understand who in the right mind would actually waste so much gold on useless items.

End of thread! You will never understand with logic that which is based on something else =)

Then what is the problem?

People like being optimal for whatever bracket they are in. Twinks were a thing forever and twink items always cost plenty.

Not sure why it’s such a weird thing to understand.

300g for a blue pre bis boe that gives you +2 DPS compared to the green alternative that costs 5g.
Those items get bought by gold buyers. Just dont buy them and wait to get the raid item.
It took me days in Stonetalon to farm my 300g. Aintnoway someone who legit farmed that much spends it on 2 flipping DPS.

Actually, the simpler greens are where the $$ is

I so far made 1500 gold by simply flipping greens, because people just keep posting preBIS or even BIS greens for pennies.

Humbert’s Helm and such everyone knows, but there are a lot of plain greens of X that are in BIS lists for other classes and people have no idea.

Tried that once but by next day people already posted 20 more and halved my price.
Also I feel like you have to fight a lot of AH bots in that business, and I’d rather have gameplay than sit in SW for 14 hours a day just to snipe Gauntlets of the Tiger faster than some AH bot.

You need to find a more niche items.

Trying to flip AGI greens and such won’t get you anything. There are other classes that are thirsty for other items and there it’s pretty easy to catch some fish.

Everyone knows about AGI items, because there are 500 zillion Hunters around, but there are plenty other more obscure items nobody has a clue about except for that specific class or two.

It’s a free market, buddy. Love it or leave it.

BoE’s going for couple hundreds of gold? So what you’re saying is we should report everybody using the AH and ask blizzard to ban the AH? Wouldn’t want to encourage gold buying now would we.

idk buddy I feel like your idea of the US declaring war on China wouldn’t really solve all issues regarding AH prices.

Don’t even start that game. I’m trying to understand the logic. Like someone one else said…

Try playing on an RP realm, it has the atmosphere you desire.

When next phase starts the cost of those items will drop to what they should be.
Ridiculous prices will just move onto level 40 BiS gear.

Hence the reason we have so many bots.

What people try to sell them on the AH for is not what people are buying them for.

Its all gold buyers anyway. Most of the issues come because of gold buyers and sellers.

I wouldnt dream of doing x10 characters to get 1k gold then blow it all on gear that gets replaced in a few weeks.

But some people do and will. Thats not on me to judge how someone plays their game and it shouldnt be on you either.

Its the gold buyers.
And ultimately blizzard that cant get their shiit together and ban more.
id say life ban
