What’s with all the masks at the Trading Post this month? Even the Peafowl seems to wearing a mask. I liked the Sky-Captain’s formal attire, but won’t purchase it because the mask ruins it.
Last month the Valentine theme was great, but this is not October. Mardi Gra was last month as well. There is an old adage that “March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb” Lions and lambs would have made a great theme for this month.
It just says this month is “get fancy” doesn’t always need a seasonal theme. April will be all easter/springish.
You could just use one of the other tricornes available in the game that doesn’t have the mask?
The dubloon trader does have blue and gray ones, but they looks more like what a ruffian would wear, but not a Sky-Captain.
Used the grey one (which is actually brown) on a few outfits myself though I agree it looks a bit beaten up. Not sure if I’m getting this set personally; I like the shirt and the boots certainly, though I’d prefer it in another colour (which I guess might happen later) and 800 seems a bit much for just using 2 or 3 pieces. So I do somewhat understand the frustration but hoped the BfA hats might do the trick for you.
Alternatively they could have it only show things you already have on April 1.
If you want a real fancy captain’s hat, You can go for Fleet Commander’s Hat (especially the blue Ally version). Goes really well with Sky Captain’s set imho.
Also, while we’re at transmogs: Blizzard, please add a cosmetic/cloth eye patch, I need it for this mog :-D
Probably because of carnival. I mean, it’s already over since a couple of weeks but it’s a possible reason for the masks.
You do understand that the way an outfit looks doesn’t have to coincides with an annual event that takes place.
Most people don’t really care what time of year it is, when an outfit is released, unless you’re a diehard roleplayer.
You need to relax, maybe touch some grass.
