Trading post tokens disappeared

Hello. Logged in earlier and after getting the montly token from the cache my total went over 2000. Bought the rocket mount for 100 token and then logged off.

Few minutes ago logged in again and my token total was 0. Any help or any ideas would be much appreciated

Edit. Tokens came back after loggin off and on

Hey Saammoth,

We saw reports of this from other players as well, and have reverted a recent change that caused this display issue.

Glad to hear a relog already sorted it out for you!

I only got 500 instead of 1000 this month on Dottie-Thunderhorn. I have the Epic War within on one account and normal on the other. I logged in on the Epic account.

Relogging didn’t help.

You don’t get extra monthly tender for owning a higher tier of the coming expansion, just in case anybody who reads this is laboring under the same misconception as Dottie. The tender advertised with the expansion is a one-time grant of 500 (base), 750 (heroic) or 1000 (epic edition), not increasing the Tenders you get every month.

The extra tender this month is earned by completing activities in the dungeon journal. You get 200 Tender per 200 points of activities (this month only) instead of the usual 100 Tender per 200 points of activities.

I bought the expansion pre-order 3 days ago. I should have gotten 1000. Before I got this months 500 I had about 750. I bought the Normal version for one account and Epic for the other so I should have an extra 1500.

So I am still short at least 500 as I had some left from last month. So I didn’t get my extra 1000.

I think I worded the post badly.

Order #EU738586148

Product(s) World of Warcraft®: The War Within Epic Edition

Price ÂŁ74.99

Thanks for the extra info, though this would be expected and tenders are only awarded once per battle.net account:

Then can you please explain why I only got the lower amount from the two different version I bought? I can see it’s once per account.

I fell a little ripped off by this as I believe I bought the Epic version first.

Edited after I read the shop info.

One more question, can I get a key or battle.net balance for the extra Dragonflight I already have? It is still being sold on the website for ÂŁ24.99.

From the shop (same area that says that you only get a one-time grant of Tender):

" * ÂłIf you already have Dragonflight on your account, the expansion will not be re-granted."

However, what does the transaction page for your virtual wallet tell you about the Tenders?

If you pre-ordered the epic version 3 days ago, you should see +1000 Tender from that single purchase when you bought it. If you had already pre-ordered a different tier before that, such as the normal one, you should only have gotten +500 on the second purchase - 500 when you initially pre-ordered base, whenever that may be, and 500 extra for buying the additional upgrade.

Also, please make sure we’re on the same page here:

  • You do not get monthly additional Tender from The War Within.

  • You got a one-time grant of up to 1000 Tender when you pre-ordered the expansion.

  • If the first upgrade on your account 3 days ago was the Epic edition, you should have gotten 1000 Tenders 3 days ago. There are no more Tender forthcoming from the upgrade.

That is ambiguous. What does “regranted” mean. It wasn’t regranted it was part of the purchase I cannot use.

I purchased the Epic one first then the Normal one on the same battle.net account and I only got the 500 from the normal one. So I should have gotten the 1000. It’s almost like the normal one overwrote the Epic one.

I understand about that now I read the sales page.

So what you are saying is that when you bought the Epic edition, there is no +1000 tender in the overview for your virtual currencies?

I still don’t understand if you think that you should get additional tenders this month because of that purchase. That is not the case.

That was my mistake, I was wrong. I had 250 before I bought the expansion when I checked last week, I got only 500 for the expansions I bought and got another 500 from the lockbox chest today.

Ok so we’re clear on the point that there is no monthly additional Tender that you would have gotten in February for buying the expansion last month.

We have the following situation:

You bought Epic Edition. Your virtual currencies show +500 Tender at the point of buying Epic Edition. Is that correct? Check your virtual currencies tab for incoming and outgoing. Virtual wallet is here:

https://account.battle.net/transactions/ecosystem/6/5730135

That should give you a clear overview over your incoming and outgoing tenders.

Your virtual currencies should show 1000 at the point of buying War Within (epic) if you had no other War Within upgrade on your account before.

If you upgraded any WoW account on your battle.net to War Within (base) before upgrading to War Within (epic), you would only get +500 Tender for buying War Within (epic) in addition to the 500 Tender you received when buying War Within (base).

If you upgraded to War Within (epic), did not previously upgrade any account on your battle.net to War Within (base) and only show +500 Tender in your overview for the War Within (epic) purchase, that’s either an error you should ticket about or some of the most deceptive marketing ever, because I too would read this statement:

“Upgrading to the Heroic or Epic Edition will not re-grant in-game items previously unlocked on your account. Trader’s Tender is granted only once per Battle.net® account and region upon first purchase of each edition, at a maximum of 1000 Tender from Epic.”

Emphasis mine - as you getting 500 tender for buying base, +250 tender plus the other ingame items if you upgrade from base to heroic and +250 tender plus the other stuff if you upgrade from heroic to epic (or +500 if you upgrade base to epic directly). Just once, mind, not every month henceforth.

It does show 1000 coming in, 500, then 250 twice but only 500 did. After I got todays 500 free a month I had 1250 and I already had 250 left over from last month so it should have been 1750.

Sorry about the delay posting back to you, a delivery just arrived.

Epic order number ends 86148
Normal order ends 87125

so you can see the order I bought them in

Unless you are misremembering the amount you had left over from last month (or were displayed a wrong amount in game), that should be something you should ticket about because for buying the epic upgrade, that should have been the full 1000.

I don’t see a way to tally the total on the website but if you were so inclined to prove that to the staff, you could expand the virtual currencies panel to the first influx of Tenders and just use a calculator to tally them up.

Here’s how my list starts (mind this is from 2023)

Feb 11, 2023 In-Game Purchase: Trading Post: Transmog -100 Trader’s Tender
Feb 11, 2023 In-Game Purchase: Trading Post: Transmog -750 Trader’s Tender
(…)
Feb 1, 2023 Granted Via In-Game Event +500 Trader’s Tender
Feb 1, 2023 Granted Via In-Game Event +100 Trader’s Tender
Feb 1, 2023 Granted Via In-Game Event +500 Trader’s Tender

Now using the mighty calculator I’d say that after this, I’d have +1100 and -850 for a total of 250 remaining. If you do that for the entirety of the virtual currencies entries, you should arrive at the canonical current total (unless they cut off orders older than a year from that virtual currencies view, in which case maybe a forum blue can double check your tally for you).

Edit: nevermind tallying that up yourself, the canonical total according to the account balance is displayed here for me:

https://account.battle.net/transactions?tab=2&ecosystem=6

So unless the forum blue comes back with insight into the total tally on your account and maybe see the entire overview of orders back to day 1, you should ticket in to ask about the discrepancy

It was a few hours ago, I’ll just open a ticket about it.

I usually buy the mounts and pets monthly, I use all the currency I can which is how I know about how many I have left, otherwise I would have bought another pet. I’m not really a transmog guy.

It’s possible I misread it.
