Traditional Mode - Floating Combat Text

Hello everybody,

Over time, Blizzard has changed the animation of the damage numbers. I used to like popping critical hits a lot better. The damage numbers were also always displayed above the target.

I know that you can change the animation with this command. However, the damage numbers overlap over the target:

/ console floatingCombatTextCombatDamageDirectionalScale 0
/ console WorldTextScale 1.5

Undone:

/ console floatingCombatTextCombatDamageDirectionalScale 1
/ console WorldTextScale 1

Asmongold had these settings too, but now the animation of the fight text has looked almost identical to what it used to be. The damage numbers no longer overlap and are displayed directly above the target. White critical hits are also displayed larger.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

Sorry no, just get some addon… i use Mick’s Scrolling Battle Text, has sticky enlarging crits and you can add icons to your skills beside the number so you know what exactly crit.

i want the old floating combat text back. Like in Vanilla, tbc, wotlk… they changed it in MoP.
