The same reason the Vindicar doest blow the Horde away; it’ll be boring.

I personally think they’ve come from alternate draenor. Let’s be honest the biggest light army we’ve seen was Yrels light bound when we rescued the Mag’har Orcs from her

  • Available Classes: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Monk, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, and Warrior.

I thought it was a really good cinematic and made me feel proud to be a blood elf (on another toon), very happy Alleria wasn’t there. Very confused who appeared at the Sunwell and utterly disappointed we aren’t getting more paladins.

First thoughts:

  • The Void feels misrepresented; too much like Legion 2.0
  • cheesy roundabout dialogue that tells us nothing and leads to nothing
  • Elves too humanized aka too emotional/whimsical; especially Lyadrin
  • no hype moment

Sunwell mentioned.
I’m happy

Looked too generic heroic light saves the day, really not giving hopes up. And 0 horde really tells what ive been fearing that they cannot do anymore horde stories.

Even the zone’s revealed are really generic they are really going for cheapening the expansions while adding more price.

Liadrin praying and saying MY PEOPLE and not having Kael show up is such a dissapointment.

ALso I’m enjoyed see amani/forest trolls.

Liadrin’s face looks atrociously masculine.

^^ Presumably she was praying to the Sunwell, or the source of light within the Sunwell.
As for the hand on the shoulder, as if answer her pray… no idea.

Unlikely, WoD was swept under the carpet.

We do literally have an Army of Light headed by Turalyon. They battled the Legion on their home world for millennia, the Void seems right up their street.

I’m sure we’ll have follow up interviews starting tomorrow with more details other than housing.

Nothing to say we aren’t. If we do it’ll be a content patch feature.

Standard Tolkien elf look. It’s a shame, Warcraft had distinctive looks for races.

It really didn’t tell anything we didn’t already know :\ it’s cool and all but… it’s a bit shallow

Liadrin is WoW’s version of Uthgerd. :smirk:

Kael’thas is dead (Having the arrogance wrung out of him by the Venthyr), he’s also a mage and not a paladin, so two reasons for the Sunwell to not chuck him up.

didn’t like it

He also atoned for his sins and we’ve already had people from SL come back more than once, plus him not being a paladin isn’t the relevancy here its his people, his icon is a phoenix for god sake.

All I could think the entire time was “why is it all so squre?”.

Personally I didn’t like it, I’m not too fussed about the whole Liadrin thing and we should be expecting this kind of slop by now from the California gang.

I was happy to see some fight scenes though it beats the Thrall and Manduin ted talk any day of the week, the last time a cinematic hyped me up was BFA.
