It’s a middle part of the story of the Worldsoul Saga so i give it 2/5 stars.

The new Cinematic felt so cheap… it reminds me of those generic mobile game ADs.

I was expecting more from Midnight cinematic, but I like it. It could have been different way to make better Midnight cinematic.

The reveal trailer was alright to me, nothing special, what really disappointed me was the gameplay trailer, not because of it’s content mostly but because when they show the “player characters” at the end, it’s a human, worgen, draenei and another human. Like where is the horde ??? It’s in defence of a horde city. I know bliz has a heavy alliance bias but jfc it’s going really far.

The cinematic was great. The gameplay trailer, not so much. out of all the races they decided to add, they add a race of one NPC who did one or two questlines with us in one zone in the previous expansion

And then there was a guy saying that Midnight cinematic trailer was much better than wod trailer.
I wanted to ask him who is his weed provider.

They defiled Lady Liadrin’s chin and the trailer lacked a proper climax.

Is that the best a multi billion dollar company can provide?

There was something about this cinematic that was just… off to me. I can’t quite put my finger on it.
I feel the artwork looked different from any other cinematic. It didn’t quite look like World of Warcraft to me.

Also, I didn’t feel much hype from this cinematic. If I wasn’t going to pre-order midnight anyway (which I am) this cinematic wouldn’t make me do so.

It felt quite underwhelming to me, unfortunately.

Thank you! I was wondering if i’d missed something about why Haranir were the new race, when we literally only did a few quests with them… I thought maybe I’d missed a bunch of the campaign or something. Glad to know it’s not just me!

Worst trailer since shadowlands

This felt more like a cutscene than a trailer, trailers used to tell a story, this didn’t really tell anything.

I liked the trailer. I like that Midnight brings the story home and that Silvermoon City, the Eversong Woods and Zul’Aman finally gets a well deserved revamp. Looking forward to fighting against shadows in the pre-expansion event in Stormwind. (I assume, that is going to happen.) I liked the idea that when nothing else helped, Liadrin turned to her faith to beat back the darkness, as the ultimate solution. I kinda expected her to go for a bath in the Sunwell but I was still satisfied with the result. I raised an eyebrow when Lor’themar spat on the ground. Very uncharacteristic from an elf, but I suppose I can cut him some slack, given the situation. I’m also curious about what’s next.

As for the models, well, Anduin looked like a younger version of Leonardo DiCaprio to me in one of the previous cinematics. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Does anyone know what the music that played at the end of the trailer where Liadrin shows up and fight is called? I figured it’s probably part of the Midnight OST but on the off-chsnce it isn’t, I’d like to listen to the piece in full.

If you mean the World Soul theme, it has been available since The War Within. Though it’s a slightly different version that is used in the Midnight trailer. You can listen to the “original” here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDvzdBuvS4s

Would’ve been alright if they didnt butcher liadrin and made her so hideous

Ah yes, I did think it sounded kind of familiar, found it in the TWW OST just too  thanks though!

The cinematic team couldn’t make a tauren paladin, even ironically.

They went with generic human-with-long-ears elves rather than distinctive warcraft elves; easier to draw i guess.

Not much hype when they told you want is happening last expansion launch.

The trilogy might be the worst decision they made. Other than no night elf paladins.
