The Tranquilizing Shot in SoD really should be available to purchase from the real vendor or something similar now that the Class Weapons are purchasable for reals. It feels pretty bad when you halfway through the questline finds out that you need a spell book from Molten Core. Competition is high because of many new players. It doesn’t really feel like a ‘catch up’ if it’s going to take weeks to get the spell in between. Quite frustrating after buying it 150 reals.

and you gotta remember, the hunter quest line LOANS you two hunter pets to do two quests, but they won’t loan you a spell to incapacitate an npc in silithus.
luckily I got into an MC run instantly and just took the book bc no one wanted it (people were there for coins only tbf)
Yeah that’s a great thought, if blizzard won’t let us buy the spell for reals at least loan us the spell for the quest. Doesn’t seem that complicated.
In the meantime you can be helped by another hunter with the tranq shot to do the quest in silithus. That’s how I got through it as I kept loosing rands on the book in MC.
