Transfer character to us server?

I’m finding it difficult to play at night, the game is really dark and I don’t like it. Can I transfer my account and character to a US server? Or at least a server that is set to a different time zone. Anyone familiar with this?

As far as I’m aware Blizz don’t allow that. I have a friend that moved from EU to USA when he was younger, and he’s stuck playing on EU servers with reverse day/night. :sob: F

Blizzard don’t do that and I doubt they ever will. POP, that was your bubble bursting.

I know but it annoys me when people don’t do a search before posting stuff like this.

The OP could just start again on the US realms though, it’s not like they’ve done much.

Unless you don’t care about latency don’t do it.

I get a latency of about 100ms to a US realm.

I play more reaction-sensitive games at higher than that, tbh :slight_smile:

But yeah, can’t be done.

Wish it could, I know a lot of american players, and I’d quite like to have some daylight in my evenings!

sure, my account might not be that old but i have done a fair bit so that was unwarranted. i got full rep in suramar and that surely counts for something. I’ve also got a few rare gear items that i spent some time on.

anyway thanks for the replies. I’ll just get a boosted character and i’m sure i can regain various things without too much hassle, it’ll just take time.

impossible.

blizzard keeps data on servers in paris (i think) for eu servers, and somewhere in the US (probably somewhere cheap and cold) for the us servers.
in order to move your character to the us servers, they will have to copy your account data from the eu servers, transfer your data using the internet to another continent and integrate it into their servers.
you will also have to buy a new account so it would be installed in the us servers.

so no, that is NOT gonna happen. ever.

Never say never. It’s been done in other mmos when merging different servers( e.g. aussie players in SWTOR)

then the system SWTOR uses is probably different. OR they decided its more financially profitable to move EVERYTHING from the servers few uses and just shut it down. but that project was not done in a day.
with the battle.net system, it would never be done.

EU and US are practically separate entities for Tax purposes, so no transfers between the two. I have 8 max level toons sitting on a US server that i can’t use.
