Transfer disabled on Anniversary Servers. WHY?!

You misquoted the prior answer in your own thread, and the previous threads you posted in.

WoW 20th Anniversary Character Transfer

No reasoning was given, but it’s likely because the Classic transfer tokens could be also used for Anniversary realms so they disabled it entirely. Yes and no, it was very late Vanilla like some time before TBC that cross-type transfers were enabled. The Era/SOD could transfer between the types too some while later/directly. I think after Blizzard re-enables transfers again for Anniversary (The Classics) you may be able to do this but it may take awhile.

Server Transfer? 20th

Currently PCT is disabled for the Classic realms, Era and Anniversary.

It’s possible they’ll re-enable it in the future. I think they will do it a bit of time after Fresh Anniversary is done and the dust’s settled for long-term population expectations.
