So new expansion is about to begin, and the question is up: for some reasons many of ukrainian people wont continue to play at their “ru” servers anymore. Can they rely on free transfer to english servers? Is something like that possible at all?

I don’t believe trans-regional transfers are technically possible, not in the transfer of your characters, if thats what you mean.
But they could certainly probably give you a free account on the EU realms, although that would mean levelling up all over again.
However, customer support don’t handle ideas and suggestions, they have to be made in-game.
Last time I checked, though it was indeed some years ago, at least a transfer from German server to an English one was not possible under any circumstance and I have not seen any signs of this being changed. We can always hope, of course, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Perhaps you should just make a new character on an English realm, your achievements and collections should follow you there.

There may be a bit of a misunderstanding going on here: characters transfers between different regions (i.e., EU, US, Asia) are not possible because these are independent platforms, but transferring them between individual realms belonging to the same region is generally absolutely doable. It’d definitely be worth submitting a help request for this on our website, so we can check what may be possible.
