Transferring WoW Classic toon to another account

Hello,

A quick question that I can’t seem to find concrete information on:

Is it possible to transfer an existing WoW Classic character from an existing BattleNet account to a wholly new BattleNet account, or is this reserved to Retail WoW only?

The exact scenario is this: I have a level 20 warrior that I would like to move to a wholly new account so I can then pass it on to a minor that I am legally taking care of. Is this possible or is the only way forward to create the new account under my name, pass it on, and then have said minor create his toon himself?

Hello Feedgodx!

At the moment this is only possible in the retail version of WoW.
Classic does not have character services - apart from the free migrations from one realm to another.

In retail the scenario you described is possible, you can read more about account to account transfers here :slight_smile: but for Classic - a new character will need to be created!
