I have been slowly collecting all the earthen sets in game i.e.
The shoulders and tabard sets, dorn defenders set etc But i just found out theres alternative colours from awakening the machine (despite the fact ive been farming it since launch), the a dorn defender set that drops from lamplighter satchels (which alos happen to be the coolest ones and the coolest weapons)
So my question is, is there an add on or web site that tells me where i can get all these sets that dont show as a set in the transmog interface. I am a bit frustrated that some of these are locked behind grinds and not on vendors so are subject to rng unlike the silver siren isle sets which is less obnoxious of a grind. The thought of having to do it on multiple armour types is a real drag.
I have looked on wow db etc but they dont always have sources or any info on how to get them.
If you look up a NPC there is usually a section called Outfit which lets you know what they’re wearing.
If you look up an item it will generally show what Transmog Set it’s from which you can click on and see all the items in that set.
Each item will have sections for Source, Same Model as (which I don’t think shows colour variations but I could be wrong).
The Comments section will often add more info too which may include colour variations.
A lot of the stuff that I originally got Better Wardrobe for have been slowly going to the base UI like seeing mog of other classes without having to switch alts.
Still one of the things I still sometimes use it for is finding minor sets, like open world and dungeons sets from before Blizzard started including pretty much all new ones to the sets tab in DF.
Yeah, that is mostly what I use it for now too as I have a lot of the main sets that I want in the game. It can be a little buggy sometimes but generally still worth having, I think.
