Transmog Farming via Revival Catalyst

Been trying to get a few pieces of the Druid LFR set by using the FR tokens. Definitely an obnoxiously slow process; my rolls in LFR are awful. Give us more charges per week already!

Used the Catalyst on my druid’s FR chest and outpoped the Normal equivalent…

Really wish we had more charges per week, but for now, anyone know what ilvl will guarentee the LFR variant of a class’ set?

376-385 = LFR
389-398 = Normal
402-411 = Heroic
415-421 = Mythic

To my knowledge. Though I am not certain about the set you get from the broken shore. I think those for some reason give you the normal ilvl variant of the tier sets.

I know that a gear drop from a +2 dungeon does turn into the LFR version.

Yeah I did like 7 +2 dungeons yesterday and got 1 piece of gear, after which I decided I didn’t really care about the lfr transmog that much.

The broken shore tokens when out through the converter give you normal mogs
If you then apply the 395 upgrade tokens from the broken shore they upgrade to heroic

If You apply the 395 token prior to the converter , you only get the heroic version, but there also is the green version of the element sets to collect doing it that way

Yeah, my 385 FR token chest piece gave me the Normal variant colour. Bit of a shame there. Put me a week behind!

That said, cheers, I’ll be hunting +2s then!

I posted this in another thread yesterday.

Also in the same post:

  • There’s some concerns about getting Class Set appearances (namely LFR ones) being a little too difficult. We don’t have anything to share here, just to say the availability of your set appearances does feel a little harder than intended and is something we’re interested in finding a solution for.

Hope that gives you some information.

My suggestion would be to gather what you can from from keys and hold onto them and convert them as and when charges become free.

Yeah, I think I actually saw you post that in the other thread. I’m thinking of doing that now too.

It’ll be nice for catch-up. Was always a pain, even in Shadowlands, to run the old raids for pieces you missed.
