Why are there still class restrictions to transmogs even after the TWW update?
Why can’t a mage wear plate if he wants to? Makes no sense.

Blizzard still wants to retain a decorum of sense, despite the outliers like the recent Magic Girl transmog off the Trading Post that Warriors can apply.

It’s an update to collecting, not to who can wear what.
Who knows, that might come some day.

It does feel a little old fashioned these days.
Especially as there are so many cosmetic items (Stormwind full set of plate for example) which can be worn by anyone.
Because mage, priest, warlock wear cloth, not plate armor.

I would love and hate it.
Instead of being very on top of my collection it would open me up to a whole world of three other categories I’ve never bothered with.
typical fantasy for warrior or paladin is heavily armoured with big weapon or sword and shiedl
typical fantasy for mage or warlock is caster which light armour able to move easier and casting from range. this is stuff that should change. if a warlock could walk around in plate whatd be the point for this.
some barriers have a reason to exist
There already are transmogs right now that look like plate and can be worn by anyone.
It’s fun to wear whatever you want and fun is always the most important thing in a game.
It’s just ridiculous at this point not to allow transmogs freely.
Tell that to my space goat priest and DI warlock both wearing heritage armour…
