Transmog items missing

When I came back to Cataclysm after taking a break at the end of WOTLK I was very excited to try out the transmog system. To my surprise, I noticed that every piece of armor I had collected and was soulbound is missing, except for the pieces that were in the inventory and the ones that were already equipped. I have no issue with the Cloaks and the weapons, I have them all.

I already made a more detailed in-game TICKET with screenshots of the items that I wore and It should’ve been in my transmog options and all I’ve got is a copy-pasted reply about the rules and conditions of Transmogrification which I’m already aware of.
This is not a case of misjudging my type of armor, I’ve literally got 30 weapons but only 2 head pieces for example. And I only played one class which is Hunter.

Has anyone else encountered the same problem of missing some gear parts or missing them all when it comes to transmogrification ???

Yes I have the same issue on my DK. Only 3 available shoulders to transmog.

I thought that this was intended, since in original Cata you had to keep the item for transmog, and use it from the inventory.

Since that is no longer required and you simply permanently unlock item appearance from quests or equipping the items of your class type, I thought that every item that I no longer had in bank is simply not unlocked for mog, and I have to obtain the item again.

I did however noticed that some weapons from WotLK era that I no longer have, are unlocked for transmog.
