Transmog of any gear type

In the next WoW expansion we will be able to unlock all gear types for everyone, which means a mage can learn the appearance of plate armor as example.

This makes farming transmog so much better and rewarding!

But we have to wait until September for the next expansion and I request that we get this feature already in a patch before.

Farming transmog now, with the knowledge that it will be more efficient later on, makes me kinda not wanna do it until the war within.

Also, it could give people something to bypass the time until the next expansion, if they added it beforehand.

Anyone else agree with that?

Same.

Also a bit disappointed that they also didn’t go all out and drop the tmog restrictions all together. It’s not like blizzard themselves stick to them.

I can wait until it finally comes out. I am not the type of person to change my tmog often anyway.

But i like these changes. Sometimes it would have been nice to wear a normal looking hat but only being able to wear plate.

Btw does anyone remember what that mexican hat from hillsbrad foothills was called again?

I didn’t know that restrictions would be lifted, sounds awesome to able to wear armor of different types! Creating new transmog sets with this would boost creativity at a whole new level, to be able to mix and match as you want.

It will be out in the pre-patch as it is a warband thing, I believe. Of course, I would love warbands sooner!

The restrictions are not being lifted. It is just you can “learn” the cosmetic appearance of a different armour type and so, for example, your paladin will be able to wear that plate helmet that your mage learnt.

Would be great for reputations too since you won’t have to grind stuff 4 times for all the tmog.

The reputations part is going to take a lot longer but it is comforting to know eventually I won’t have to do it again.
